HELLO, dear bros. Welcome to another Monday post. I don’t have that many happenings to share this time, so this week’s post will be much shorter than last week’s. Well, in any case, let’s do this thing!

THE FRAMEWORK. This is something I meant to mention last week but forgot. Have you ever heard of Framework laptops? I hadn’t, so discovering the brand and doing a bit of research was interesting. In short, they’re kind of like IKEA or LEGO for computers. The machines are designed to be easy to upgrade and repair. That said, the brand feels more like a startup than an established company, so I’m not sure how good they really are. Since I’ve already successfully repaired my MSI, this isn’t something I’m interested in anymore—but I thought I’d mention it for those of you who hadn’t heard of it. ^^

THE SCHRÖDINGER’S CONSOLE. My new RG35XXSP was delivered a few days ago. For those who weren’t following the story: this is the second time I’m buying this thing (I sent first one back), because the first one arrived with what I believe was a faulty SD card slot—it refused to read any card other than the super-cheap one it came with. When the package arrived, I didn’t open it right away. I was worried it might have the same issue, and as long as I didn’t open it, it remained in a suspended state: both broken and perfectly working at the same time. :)

SPOILER! This one was 100% in working order. It accepted the pricey Samsung card without any issues, as it should. Originally, my plan was to install MuOS or at least MiniUI, but after a couple of days of testing, I ended up sticking with the stock OS. Honestly, it does the job just fine, and the built-in “super standby” option is similar to—if not better than—what a custom OS can offer in terms of battery saving. In any case, I’m extremely happy. This device is pretty much perfect for GBA emulation. The pixels look nice and crisp on this small screen. ^^

WING COMMANDER. That’s right—expect me to talk a lot about GBA games from now on! I never played any Wing Commander games before, but I always eyed them with interest. Well, looks like now’s my chance. "Prophecy" looks great on the GBA and even has 3D fighting scenes with a cockpit view. You can also explore the base and talk to people. On my first mission, I had no idea what the hell I was doing and ejected from my fighter by accident. There was a cutscene of my pod getting picked up, and later the mechanic girl screaming at me for wasting valuable equipment. Pretty immersive stuff—especially for a GBA game ^_^

DEFENDER OF THE CROWN. This is a game I didn’t even know existed. I picked it up because it had a girl with big tits on the cover, and I’m very happy I did. Apparently, this is an ancient medieval conquest simulator, and—by sheer luck—the GBA version actually has the best graphics (IMHO) and gameplay mechanics (tiny screen aside, of course). You get to participate in tournaments, pummel people with your morning star, and occasionally save damsels in distress. Great stuff. I’ve been having a lot of fun with this one.

THE SHOP. I uploaded another new item to the shop—another really old but fun one. I wasn’t able to find the PSD version, but at least the pencil scan survived. Anyway, go check it out. :)

THE WORK. I’m sharing this random screen from a scene I was working on because I really like how Avy (the skater girl) looks here. I don’t have anything exciting to report, apart from the fact that it was another very productive week. And that’s really all I have to say. Thank you for your support, and I’ll see you all next Monday. Laterz.
