Resource: Beautiful Cervix

The attached website, The Beautiful Cervix Project, is a really cool website that shows pictures of cervices at different points in life, self cervical self-exam kits, and has lots of information on the menstrual cycle.

CW: Some of the language on this site is cisgender-centric. I know the site owner is working on changing that, and they have in several areas, but I acknowledge that that is not enough. Please do not visit if the language used could be upsetting to you. Currently, this is the only resource like this I am aware of. If a more trans-inclusive one becomes available (or this site completes its updates) I will revise this post.

Sexual Self Care Tip #1

Date Idea #1

[Image text: Cut paper into small pieces, and you and your partner(s) each write down all of the restaurants you like, or want to try. Decorate a jar together, and fill the jar with the papers. Each time you want to go out to eat, pick a paper out of the jar (alternating each time). There's no pressure on anyone to decide, you won't get sick of eating the same food, and you can save and reuse the papers to start over again when the jar is empty!]

My Previously Published Works

I want people to have easy access to work I created prior to Patreon. Attached below is a link to a collection of writings of mine that have been published over the last few years. I've written on a few different topics, and those topics that I've already published works on will almost definitely be part of the content found here.

About Me

Hi y'all! My name is Sara, my pronouns are she/her and they/them, and I am a sexuality educator! I am currently obtaining my M.Ed in Human Sexuality (with a B.A. in Sexuality Studies and B.S. in Psychology under my belt), and talking about and educating on sexuality is most definitely my life passion. I received really crappy sex education as a child (like, really crappy), and as an adult found there was a lack of comprehensive sources for adult-based sex ed. Fast forward about ten years-- there is definitely more good info available on the web now-- and I decided to try and continue filling in that gap with a variety of both hands-off and hands-on educational and helpful content with Sara Talks Sex. When I'm not passionately talking about sex, though, I like to listen to music that makes my skin tingle, spend time with my three fur babies, and scour my city for affordable vegan food --which ain't always easy, as anyone who enjoys plant-based food knows.

(The above picture is just a snippet of all of my sexuality related books. I think I may have a problem.)
