357 - The game is ready, but...
Added 2024-12-02 14:45:42 +0000 UTCHello, bros. I'm tired and exhausted so I will just explain the current situation and will be on my way. The game is ready for release, but I need to test it thoroughly one more time before releasing it. A lot of stuff has been added since I tested it the last time, including achievements, new CGs and events. I am a big fun of how game developers used to NOT turn their fans into free beta-testers and instead tried hard to release a finished product, so I always try to keep a similar mindset.
THE PLAN. If nothing goes horribly wrong I plan to release the game on Friday (December 6th). This way I will have some time to test the game properly, you will have some time to play it over the weekend properly and on Monday we will be able to discuss everything properly. Basically starting next Monday you will be able to start reporting bugs, typos and all that. So, how that sounds? That was a rhetorical question. The game drops on Friday, end of story.
PRINCESS TRAINER. Few days ago Xaljio sent me an updated android build of Princess Trainer that should work on the newer phones. There was a small bug with the version he compiled though (the save menu was inaccessible). As soon as he repacks it again I will share it with you and those of you who have been asking me (for years) for an updated android build will finally be able to leave me alone. OTL

After reading the reasons, I understand why you can't do a drop on Steam just yet. Alternatively I can also imagine a situation where you do actually make a game to drop on Steam using original characters; it would likely be the biggest h-game to hit the platform since Subverse and you do also make additional sales off people selling cards to each other.

I was too lazy to explain it myself, but basically to put a game I would do a lot of compromising. And I mean a lot. With Queen Trainer I was able to put some edgy stuff into the story :)

Then change Genie's iconic appereance. Also the appereance of Wendy and Peter Pan - these characters are in Public Domain, but their Disney design is not, of course. And some other characters like Jafar, the tiger, etc. would have to be removed or replaced.

Once A Porn A Time 1 & 2 both use Disney characters and it would be something to get Steam Achievements and possibly trading cards for playing. It would also add a new revenue stream and an official place for modders to congregate.
