Despite me being a smart boy and never giving any release days for my games I still was hoping to release Queen Trainer by the end of the summer at the latest. Fuck. I blame DAHR. (Who sent me some more art yesterday by the way.) That monster.
THE WORK. I spent last week coloring additional artwork for the game. Wasn't able to finish as much as I had hoped (because of course), but whatever. Don't feel like showing off any previews or WIPs this time. Putting together these posts takes too much of my time. I want to get back to work as quickly as possible. Honestly, if I don't release this fucking game in 2024 I'll commit a fucking seppuku. -_-
TO OTHER NEWS. Buymeacoffee(dot)com has terminated it's business relations with Payoneer (replacing it with STRIPE), which means I can't use it anymore. I was barely using that site, but it was still nice to have an alternative to Patreon. Anyway, I had to shut down my account there. End of story.

This is not the case for me of course, but I still try to have that mentality. I want to release a fully working, well tested game and update it like one month later mostly to fix the typos and such.

I am quite excited what is in store for us. I hope after release, you can take a well-earned break and begin plotting the next misadventures for our Ashelin and crew. So it's not just "randomly" released, and as you put it with Witch Trainer where you felt empty when it finally was released (still remember that comment). Keep up the good work 💻🖊

Since I was waiting for DAHR to finish up the achievements icons and basically had nothing to do I decided to go through my notes containing "cut until the gold edition" notes and work on some ideas from there. Don't worry no loops, I swear. As soon as I am done with my bit it is done. Whatever Dahr sends my way (if anything) will be moved to the Gold Edition plans. And yes, the final polish, the final bits always take the longest. But to be fair this final bits can make or brake a good game, so I need to do it right.
