050 - Green Grass Appreciation Post.

Hi, bros. This week I've been doing some research on Lara's old-school outfits and it made me very nostalgic for the way they used to do character design in video games: so vibrant and almost instantly iconic. The older I get the more often I start to miss the good-old-days: when men were manly, women were feminine and the grass was green. Namaste.

Wow. Post #50. I guess some sort of celebration is in order... Right? Well, tough luck, I don't do celebrations or special events or what have you. Post #50, business as usual. Just another Monday. One week closer to the grave. Hugs and kisses, everyone. <3

Grigbertz. When I mentioned Shabby Blue in my last post everyone was like: "Of course we know Shabby Blue! Everyone knows Shabby Blue!". Well, how about Grigbertz than? Don't tell me you heard of him too? Well, most of you probably did actually, since his work is pretty damn amazing. But in case you didn't just google him. Oh, and Shabby is in fact alive, we already established that. But what about Grigbertz? Does anyone know if HE is alive too? I know his work from way back when, but it's been years since I've seen anything new from him. Oh, and roughly a year ago I actually sent  Grigbertz an email saying how much I love his work, and... he completely ignored me. In fact, after that I made it my personal mission to reply to EVERY email I get (even to really dumb ones), because being ignored is not fun.

The work. It's been 6 weeks since Episode 04's release. Yes, I'm still counting. Mostly done with the writing at this point and working on art assets. That is all I will be saying for now...

News! There is none actually. I went to see AquaMAN... I enjoyed it way more then I thought I would. Seriously, that movie had no right to be that good. Don't worry though, I don't plan to gush over it like I did with SWTOR last week. I went to see AquaMAN and thought it was a really good movie. The End.

The Scan. Well actually, again, not a scan but more of behind-the-scene photos. The degree of family friendliness varies from pic to pic, so I can only drop some of them here (in attachments to this post). The test goes to the Patrons-Only post as usual. Don't get too excited though, it's just of a bunch of pics of me holding a pencil.

Aneska is approaching! Anyone still remembers Spacelords? I used to play that game religiously when it went Free-To-Play months ago. Eventually I moved on to other things but that game still has a special place in my heart. And it seems that developers have been keeping busy. They recently signed Stefanie Joosten (the girl who played Quaet in MGSV) to voice one of their characters. And just few days ago they announced that they will be finally making Aneska a playable character. And supposedly (and unlike SC34 Ep.05 release) it will be happening not just soon, but VERY soon. Good God, freaking Aneska is coming. I've been waiting for this since forever. I'm really exciting to see this chick as a playable character.  And that isall. Moving on^^
