Oh, I know he still reads them, I just play the part of a crowd warmer. I hate to see Akabur's works not receive the proper support they deserve, and hate it even more so when non-supporters make demands or critiques. Suggestions are, in a sense, personal demands that the suggester doesn't want to push on the person they are suggesting to. Usually for reasons such as that they like the person or respect them, and getting on that persons bad side would be bad for them.

I don't think I ever read any statement of the Maestro about only having his supporters make suggestions, mate. Pretty sure he does the same with those than he does with every other suggestion, mostly ignore them and simply take the ones he considers good or useful. It's his vision and I always respected him for keeping it that way. Porngames which get too much fan-influence end up pretty bad, e.g. CoC or that one text-based game with furries which is huge but everything is unfinished.
