Shadowdark One-Shot

Hi folks! I've decided to run a Shadowdark one-shot game!

The game is scheduled to begin on Sunday, October 13, and will take place every other Sunday from 4 to 8 pm Eastern. I anticipate the one-shot lasting about 3 game sessions.

As of the writing of this post, there are 2 slots still open, but 4 players have joined in the two days since the game was opened, so I imagine they will go fast.

Now, it possible I may run the one-shot more than once, but maybe not. My ultimate goal is to start a long-term Shadowdark campaign, and this one-shot is my warmup run.

What if I've Never Played Shadowdark?

Shadowdark is probably one of the easiest TTRPG games to learn. It's super rules light, and you can get the quickstart for free. If you're coming from D&D or pretty much any other popular TTRPG, you'll pick it up super fast.

If you've never played Shadowdark, don't let that stop you! You'll have a blast!

Be aware though... Shadowdark is known to have a GRITTY old-school feel though it is based on some D&D 5e mechanics. So, monsters are terrifying and death is real (and often frequent). This is perhaps why it appeals to me so much, to be honest.
