Inspired by the lotta-characters as seen around Finland in Wplace, the girls are drawing stuff near their hometowns. Except for Tyyne, since Deltarune has taken over Helsinki.
Exit short comics now in FULL color, since these would take place right before the events of the hypothetical game. More to come sometime later, as this is just the part 1 out of 2.
Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been uploading to Fanbox that much during this month. I had funeral to take care of and now the heat is dampening my productivity, but I'll get there.
Here are some finished drawings and WIPs where in most the theme can be boiled down to "tall woman" lol. A recent commission as a Fanbox bonus at the end.
Gold Ship then proceeded to trample over the other contestants.
Also a funny reference how her face is slightly longer in the anime when compared to the game counterpart. Sorry it took a bit longer to do the FOTM-post of the month, it was a really dry month for trends.
Long overdue, but here are Escape's fighting style ideas if she was playable in the game.
Then some boss characters related to her.
Art and texts are still WIP, so when these are posted publicly they might differ a bit.
The final part continuing from this, ending the flashback saga.

That'll be it for these comics for now. The next ones I have in mind are more of the "modern" timeline where Exit is older, but still takes place before the events of the imaginary game.
I remember one Patron saying that these "self insert"-comics are one of his favorites. That inspired me to draw out a few which I have written in my memos.
1st comic: After learning about "no pussy - no work"-movement I thought how funny it would be if such people wouldn't do ANYTHING until they get what they want. I'm no incel by any means but "Inceltzeri" is too fun of a pun to not use.
2nd comic: Can't trust anything in these days. I wish tall women were real... But those shoes were fucking cool though.
3rd comic: Happened once in a cafe terrace. Ironic how I finally ended up drawing the dog, probably not in the way the lovely lady intended.
I'm not sure about the punchline yet, so I added some alternatives.
Taimi wants to talk about cool bugs.
This is a second in row where Taimi & Tyyne works the best in my head when applying the memes and trends to my drawings. They have a good established dynamic already so it's easy to build up from that.
This marks the beginning of the short prequel comics which would actually lead to the events of the game, this will be the last stretch regarding Exit the Dragon-comics. Buckle up.
She never thought looking after two dragon babbys would be such a handful.
As a bonus I drew what the previous Black Dragon could've looked like, mentioned in one of the previous comics.
Black hair with red streaks, black sclera and scales are the inherited traits of such.
I'm balancing between the names "Exile" and "Extreme", both cool in their own right.
It was a challenge to find suitable characters for this meme, but I felt like drawing some horses, and Gold Ship is really funny, both the character and the real horse. After I watched some clips of the Uma Musume anime, Youtube started suggesting me videos of the actual Gold Ship horse.
I wanted to draw a short comic of Exit's & Escape's origins, this one focusing on Escape and how she got her name. Part 2 & 3 will come on a later date.
That and Sonic Adventure-inspired key art of the two.
I had an idea to make it Dark Souls-related.
Now, it's just a speculation that Seath is connected to Priscilla, but I thought it would be funny.
I also couldn't for the life of me to find the original meme, so I had to rely on the example picture from the poll to grab the colors. Text might not be accurate to the original.
I think the chivalrous type makes the best kind of a giantess. Here's Nearl looking out for the little guys despite receiving some damage herself. What was she fighting for her to get knocked back like that??
Master Chef Setz is at it again. The taste wasn't bad, but the presentation was just very unpleasant to look at.
In other news one of my new year resolutions was to be more productive with drawing this year. So far it has been going great as you have probably seen. Thank you for all the support and comments, they keep me going.
Here it is, the last batch of Exit-stuff for now. Thanks for joining me on this journey. This won't be the end of Exit stuff of course, but I've drawn most of the ideas which were piled up.
Final boss:
Since the concept was thought up as a video game first, it needs to have a final boss.
To play with the Yin & Yang theme, I thought to merge two opposing concepts into one dragon, Existence & Extinction, Ex-Ex for short.
What the actual reason to fight this being is still beyond me, but since Exit the Dragon originally started as a story of the last remaining dragon, the Extinction part could play into this.
It was fun putting the opposing elements into one, the skeletal parts and flowers on its skin representing life & death. In the side view sketch it is shown more clearly how the sides of the head look, or it could change forms, who knows.
Dragon Age Comic:
In one of the previous comics there was a panel with an older dragon person. Few people DM'd me giving their thoughts why he is more dragon looking than the other characters shown, which gave me the inspiration to draw this comic.
Bath comic:
In the previous set I drew a "hot cake" item, especially popular with kids. No other reason for this comic, except for showing that Exit is very smart.
Irish Goodbye comic:
Thought up story for a fan-created character Irish Goodbye by Skeleton Crew (Rexhastala).

Imagine traveling to the other side of the world to still stumble upon the creatures you dislike. What sort of history he has with dragons?
The comics are drawn with a quicker method using pencil tool. I think the thin lines work alright with the flashback comics when comparing to the others. Let me know what you think.
And this is the last of the "flashback comics" for Exit the Dragon... or so I would like to say, but when I finish one, I get ideas for two more. I might draw a colored sketches of those at least in the future.
The idea for this came from the thought of that what dragon people need to eat in order to breathe better quality fire. Apparently they have made their own products for kids and adults alike.
When I thought about the food items, they reminded me of pickup items in video games, which Exit the Dragon's concept basically is.
Two more comics and then some extra.
First comic deepens the lore of the different dragons of the world. If Exit would have a western counterpart (Brexit the Dragon lol) I imagine she would be a knight and wield a sword. Perhaps something I'll draw in the future.
Second comic isn't actually a flashback, and is more what could be in the "modern timeline" of Exit. It is based on a friend suggestion who wanted to see BIG Exodus. As a person who takes great attention to canon thought "how can I make that work?", so a heartwarming reunion with master who has passed on came to mind.
Song accompanying the scene which was playing when I was drawing the piece. Apparently from more recent Pokemon movie.

But of course beautiful scene has to be followed by a funny comic. The punchline is still in the works but the idea that there's Star Wars in Exit the Dragon's universe is pretty funny.
Then lastly there are some notes on Master Exodus herself.
That's all, just one more of these flashback comics and I'll be done. After this I should draw more of Exit and Escape as grownups.
My personal Exit-mania continues.
Last time there was a comment thinking about the family relations between Exit, Escape and Master Exodus. That gave me an idea for this very family-functional comic.
The other subject is Exit and Escape in fancy suits in Like a Dragon-fashion. Alternate hand placement for Exit. I feel foolish for not thinking of drawing flame-patterned horns for Escape before.
Also an experiment doing the faux-traditional artwork. I deliberately blurred some of the pencil marks, since that's something they do with copic markers.
Music has been inspirational lately, and this song was playing as I worked on the suit drawing.

I now think of it as an unofficial ending song for Exit the Dragon.
Some flashback-comics about the life of kid Exit, her adoptive sister and their kung-fu master.
I wanted to get more comfortable drawing comics digitally, because it's usually a hurdle for me to decide the line width, coloring style and other unlimited factors which aren't a thing when drawing traditionally on paper.
I included sketches too, the first comic has two. The first one is practically the "idea sketch" where I draw the overall composition and speech bubble placement. Second one is where the characters are more polished where the final lineart is based on.
The first comic was also originally in full color, but when I asked for second opinions it looked too cluttered and messy, making it hard to see what was going on, so I slapped a sepia-filter on top of it and lightened the backgrounds a bit so the characters pop out more.
Bit of a long explanation but it was fun to try new methods and tools. Thanks for reading.
Full resolution drawings so you can get close and personal with the artwork.
-New year illustration which kickstarted my interest to try out more natural-looking brushes this year.
-Pramanix (Arknights). Using the same tools I colored this one digitally, but made it look as if it was colored with copic markers.
-The two-part Exit was slightly cropped in the version seen on Twitter and Tumblr.
I don't have personal interest in le spooky subversive dating sim, but I gotta stick to the rules I've set for myself. I saw this game during December enough to warrant a spot in the FOTM-posts.
As I went through the past year I noticed that the February didn't fit with the rest, so I went back the memory lane and surprisingly enough one of my favorite trends from the year, the Glasgow's Willy Wonka Experience was trending in February.
What memes and trends will come in this year? Time will tell.
