There are many things I want to say but wont' in fear of spoilers! This episode is wonderful and it was so fantastic to have a whole episode dedicated to Young Eda. Her interactions with Raine were just so adorable. And they're both just as cool and awesome as they are as adults. You can also spot a lot of younger versions of other characters in the background. Most obvious being Alador, Darius, and Odalia. But also Willow's Dads. And yes, you do see Raine whistle on her drink in episode 11. She has been faking being under Terra's spell this whole time. It was also heart braking to see Eda and Lilith's interactions in this episode. Lilith is Eda's best friend and they obviously want to do everything together and succeed together. But Lilith despite being the older of the two really struggles to keep up to Eda in school. It really does help set up why Lilith cursed Eda because to her getting into the Emperor's coven was everything and she never believed she could be better then her sister. And Terra's game of Covens vs Wild Witches was another brilliant bit of sinister worldbuilding. Turning the hunting of people who don't want to conform and fit within the system into the villains of childhood games (I can go so much more into this but won't because spoilers). This episode definitely wasn't filler. Although it sadly does feel like it only exists because of the show's cancellation. It helps further build up Eda and Raine's relationship, and gets the views invested in them both. And the ending is a rather important reveal. I can't wait to see your reaction to what happens next. The train is now going non-stop.
