Hi!
During my little radio silence here on Patreon I've been preparing tarot deck files for the print. Scanning, converting them into a workable format, editing, all this took me a whole week of constant yet really rewarding work.
Below you'll be able to see some major changes I've made in few cards which needed a serious revamp and a finished set of all 21 cards all together.
Of course if you'll see some mistakes in the writing, please let me know!

Aside the major changes I had to work on optimizing small reappearing details like:
1. Center lines
It was really important to me to make sure all of the cards feel balanced. Even though i did my best to make the right and the left side mirror each other during the traditional process - it's not really that easy. All the small mistakes of course make the cards look a bit more organic, but what seems more organic at a first glance, may look off in the mirror reflection or turned around and put against the strong light source. It's a simple trick to use while working with paper, and will make you quickly see some mistakes as you work on something.
2. Line thickness
I made sure that all of the reappearing shapes and patterns remain consistent in thickness. Now the lines building small circles and big ones are the same boldness. All of the patterns made with lines like in the High Priestess and The Sun are fit together to made the whole deck united.
3. Small ornaments
The most reappearing detail is the star - a small four armed sparkle that fills the cards with light of knowledge. Before - in traditional set, all of them were different shapes and sizes but now they show themselves in established forms, sewing together all of the cards, making the deck once again united in small details.

Right now I'm in the middle of arranging the printing with my printhouse. I really hope they'll be able to make the golden ornaments on the fronts and the backs of the cards. I'll keep you informed as i go π
