DnD - Fluffy Cloud

Few weeks ago I started playing DnD with friends, and decided to sketch our party 👍
First portrait was incorrect so i made another one.

Funny story is that it was a secret that I was suppose to join the party. I was listening to the sessions on discord as an audience for few weeks before I worked up to my character's surprising reveal and adding them to the group.

So except for GM, nobody knew that I was going to join in the game that evening.
My character is a Birdfolk, so i decided to do a small hint of what was suppose to happen and I sent a private message to a GM if he could make my character fly high in the sky, covering sun for a brief moment on their way to the destination where the reveal was suppose to happen. Party's characters would see a big bird across the sky and later on get to know that it was me.

The fun part was that GM never told me that me covering the sun during my flight was exactly the same thing that the Party encountered once before... when they were attacked by a human-heart-eating giant horned birds!

So of course - traumatized by the previous encounter they quickly decide to shoot the big bird down. Fluffy is the only long bow wielding character and even though the bird is very high in the sky she aims and shoots, hitting my peacefully flying bird!

Neither me nor GM expected that, so in panic we try to type through the encounter on private, hoping that they will decide to give up and run if I start to throw my hits on them.
The Party quickly realizes their mistake when my dashing down bird ends up being a humanoid, ready to cut its glaive through the Tabaxi that shot an arrow at it. 

And so an unexpected reveal of my character went. It didn't go as planned, but to be honest I like it that way. So many fun things had to happen for the Party to apologize to a bird that can't speak back~

Now after some adventures, Fluffy's and Birb's bond began to tighten. She seems to understand bird's questionable attempts to communicate, and tries to repent for their unfortunate first encounter and the trust slowly builds up~
