NarDec Update - April 2025

Hey there! ZoranTheWizard here to let you know what we have in store for all of you.

A New Campaign!

That’s right! We will be delving into another campaign with some different chucklefucks that you may have heard of!

Our adventure containing “Our Rusty Crew!”  will be taking us through the official PF2E Adventure Rusthenge! Taking the Rust Crew to the southern coastline of the Chakikoth isles, they will have to deal with remnants of the past runelords of ancient Thassilon.

Those composed of our Rusty Crew are (from left to right, art still WIP)

JoCat, YouTuber, Monster Hunter, and TTRPG enthusiast.

Playing as Mama Maria, Human Cleric

Froggyloch, frog.

Playing as Biscuit Barkman, Shooni Fighter

MontyGlu, Dungeon Master of The Unexpectables TTRPG Show.

Playing as Gravy Barkman, Shooni Rogue.

Kabhaal, Caffeinated Cult Leader

Playing as Malakai Blackbarrel, Fetchling Gunslinger

The goal of this adventure is to teach Monty and JoCat the Pathfinder Second Edition rules. As much as we love streaming and showing off the Pathfinder 2E Beginner Box for the 100th time, we thought it’d be a nice change to go through something else. That, and Rusthenge, is a fantastic starter adventure.

The goal is to begin streaming May 12th. The exact time & date will be will be solidified once we draw closer. And when the players re-confirm their time.

We’re super excited to see everyone during the streams! And don’t worry, the episodes will be available for you early birds on Patreon, Twitch, and YouTube! All while we prep the VODs for release for free just like we always do in a bi-weekly schedule. We will also provide a podcast version just for Patreon.

The Adventures of Baldur’s Gate 3 w/ the Rotgrind Crew!

The team and I have been waiting for the final updates to Baldur’s Gate 3 to finally journey through it together! As much as we’d love to re-create our characters from Rotgrind, sadly there aren’t the right mods available to make it happen. Unless someone out there could do some amazing magic.

We have no official date for this yet, but we plan to do this soon(tm). It’ll be a casual thing we do on our streaming platforms. There will be no editing, presentation, or anything like that. Just the rotgrind players coming together to save the gates of baldur!

Once we begin, keep an eye out for a dedicated post about it along with our stream calendar.

We want to make a book, so here is our proposal.

We’ve mentioned in the past that we’ve been wanting to find a way to make a book, but also know that it’ll impact what we do here on Patreon. After a long meeting, we came up with an idea that allows us to still provide Patreon with monthly content, while still developing towards a product.

To keep things simple, these are the main points of the plan.

We wanted to present this to see if our community would be okay with this. To make sure those on that particular tier have their voice be heard clearer, we will make a separate post in the future for clearer discussion just for them.

Would you be interested in a Rotgrind Bestiary? Let us know.

Patreon enables separate Podcast feeds!

After so many years, Patreon has implemented something we've been begging for, separate Podcast feeds. For such a long time, we had to send all of our podcasts into one RSS feed. Meaning podcast listeners had to go through so many hoops and aggravations to filter the shows they wanted to listen to.

I will be working to get everything separated and categorized this week for all of you.

We hope you all had an amazing April. The launch of Rotgrind’s 4th season has been invigorating, the flow of awesome animations showing off our silly antics have been an absolute joy, and your continuing support has, as always, been a consistent driver to more and more.

Thank you from me and the NarDec team!

NarDec Update - April 2025

Comments

I missed this update when it was released. Just waned to voice my full support for a bestiary. I'd buy a hardback of that, too, but yeah, this is so very not the time to get into physical book publishing...

Kichae

I would love a bestiary book. I'm running and converting a pathfinder 1e adventure for my friends, but some of the monsters are repetitive and I would jump at the chance to replace the monsters in there with creatures from Tyne.

Thank you Z!
