patreon

Goal reached!

amazing! thanks very much, i just reached a goal on patreon i never thought i would reach! lets look forward to 2018! Got a few large projects planned. Which should make people happy!

along with plenty of how to's and all that stuff! next weeks "how to" for example is the above! using CRT's with synths! (ASLONG AS YOU DONT ZAP YOURSELF)

The patreon has really helped out the past few months, its really soften the blow on things like Furbies, tools and mainly time! to get stuff done and recorded.

hopefully one day soon this can become a much more regular and stable thing! but my aim for the next month or two is to get more regular for everybody, with better quality how to's and all that jazz.

The big thing soon thats happening is the furby organ! its a big mission, which i plan to have done and the first video shot on the first week of feb (january i have a lot of overlapping work from my other things, but luckily hardly any more for the year after that, many thanks to you all!)

im planning to sustain 1 big project a month, and 3-4 more smaller projects.

im open to ideas! Any thing you want to see built or covered, please let me know! in the comments or messages! and also Anyone you would like me to go and see and do an episode on! This year i'm planning to travel to see artists, and do a little expo on their lives and what they do... like what i did for singing kitchen.

I was supposed to be uploading a video today for you all, it's a 360 video. but it says its going to take 4 hours to transcode!! so ill have to push it back a day!

thanks again!

PEACE

Goal reached!

Oh! I just found the Zine where you explained the gameboy stuff. I guess I should've poked around a bit instead of spouting off right away. ;)

I'd love for you to fix and explain the triple gameboy oscillator rig. Other things I'd like to see is possibly a Howto for building or repurposing power supplies. I am very much interested in trying to build some basic synth stuff (Oscillators, Filters, Distortion, and a sequencer) but have no idea how i'd power it outside of a bunch of batteries. I'm obviously a complete noob when it comes to electronics but I'm sure there's others out there who are in a similar spot.

Great! Congratulations! You should revive the old synth ideas of Erkki Kurenniemi and do them with a big dose of your magical fingers! https://www.soundonsound.com/people/pioneer-digital-synthesis I played many of these synths 30 years ago at Ralph Lundstens place.
