Comic Commission WIP (18+)

Working on a comic for a client so I did some thumbnails to get a better idea of the comic. The finished product wont be in little squares but it helps me understand the flow and see if I can eliminate any panels not necessary to the story. This method is usually more relevant on longer comics, this one is so short that I really had to cut corners with on transitional panels.

Random comic and animation (and technically film) tip: The 180 Rule
The 180 rule in simplest terms is about not crossing a character over to the opposite side of the screen without reason. This helps maintain flow and help the reader understand the space the characters are in. Notice that I try to keep the lovely lady on the left side of the panel and the wolf on the right. If I randomly have a panel with her on the right side, it can be a little confusing. Take note of this cool trick next time you watch a movie~!

This video explains it more eloquently and with fun visuals if you're interested in learning more.
