A possible solution

A solution for the rewards management could be to not send the codes via message, but making a post only accessible to the right tier.
I didn't want to do that previously because a lot of people don't seem to read the posts, but they get an email notification when I send them a message, so they don't miss the reward. I guess I could just send everyone a message to tell them to check the post with the code each month.
With a subscription model, people have access to all the posts whenever they join, so I'd need to switch to upfront payment, to avoid people just joining, taking the code and leaving. Currently people aren't charged when they join but only when I make a paid post, which gives me more control.
Also this would mean that people couldn't choose their reward anymore, since they would by default be able to access the monthly model.
According to Patreon, if I switch it wouldn't change anything for current patrons, they would still be charged on the first every month. So to avoid having a big gap between new and old patrons I could make the switch at the end of the month.
Then the reward would be available each month whenever the model is ready, no need to wait for the end of the month.
So I propose to try that at the end of February and see if it works. If it doesn't I'll just stop monetizing Patreon, or maybe just make tiers with different percentages of discounts for Cults, but no 3D rewards.

2025-02-02 19:26:04 +0000 UTCI think this is a viable solution. I’ve seen the “per creation” model work for Dinamuu3D, but it would be a pain with multiple tiers or people requesting things of you. The majority of Patreons I see use the system you’re talking about, either messaging links directly or creating locked posts with the links that gets updated. Although the “request a previous model” option is very considerate of you, if it complicates the process and causes stress then it’s not worth worrying about. I’m here to support your art and grab whatever new works you come up with. So I hope this allows you to continue publishing on this platform 🤘
