Rewards and important message

Alright, I sent all the rewards for January. A least, I TRIED.

But the patron management system is so AWFUL and BUGGED that I made a lot of mistakes. I sent a lot of rewards to people who shouldn't have gotten it ( and it's probably not the first time ), but I didn't send them to some who had a lifetime payment of $0, as it's supposed to mean that they haven't been charged.

But after checking the billing history, some were actually charged. If it's your case please send me a message and I'll send you your reward.

On top of that there are people with refunds, people switching their tier and not showing up in the right category, people cancelling their membership not appearing in the active section, declined payments and people who requested a different character.

Because of all this, I would need to check for EACH patron ( including the ones who cancelled ) their billing history, for which tier and for which reward, or if they switched their tier, or if they were declined, etc.

This is just not manageable, it would take hours or even days. Without a better way of messaging patrons, I can't do it.

On top of that, Patreon will remove the "per creation" model, and after reading what it implies, it's gonna be a complete MESS. Subscription billing is going to make a difference between old patrons ( who will still be charged on the first of each month ) and new patrons ( who will be charged when they join ). Lots of people will have different charge dates so imagine how hard it will be for me to send the rewards.

The "per creation" model is also quite confusing for most newcomers, they're not used to it.

BECAUSE OF ALL THAT I DECIDED TO JUST STOP SENDING REWARDS THROUGH PATREON. 

Yeah I know I just came back from a break, but seriously Patreon sucks and it's just another burden on me. It's nice for people who make content released regularly and accesed directly on Patreon. It's awful for artists making products hosted on other websites like Cults.

I'm looking for a solution, but until then I unpublished the $5 tier and I won't make paid posts, there won't be any more 3D rewards here. I'll just keep this page up to keep you updated on projects.
