Actual Play Starter Set with Markeia McCarty

Andy Law here to introduce our guest today, and I'm beyond excited for this one. For those of you who caught Andy, Lindsay, and me streaming part 1 of the Enemy Within past night, you'll soon understand why. Our guest, Markeia McCarty (she/they), has a lot of experience in this area.

Markeia is the Community Director for Hunters Entertainment, a brilliant company I have had the privilege of mapping for in the past. You may know Hunters for their award-winning games covering everything from Survival Horror to Strange Events in Small Towns. Titles like Kids on Bikes, Altered Cardon, Outbreak: Undead, and the astonishing silent roleplaying offered by Alice is Missing deserve your time.

Markeia is also a professional host, producer, and VO actor.  She was the creative producer, head story editor and narrator of the acclaimed streaming horror series and podcast Something Scary (2 million+ followers on YouTube! Cripes!). She hosts for a variety of streaming channels' platforms including co-hosting Netflix's first global fan event, TUDUM, DC Universe's first fan event with DC Daily, and Nerdist's landmark variety show, Fangirling.  Her tabletop roleplaying credits include the Dungeons and Dragons sensation Critical Role, DnD Beyond, HyperRPG, Felicia Day's Geek & Sundry and more.

Today we're talking about actual plays and the realities of producing them, something that I am super interested in given we've just started our own actual play! I don't know about you, but I'll certainly have lots of questions!
