Nice event! But it reminded me of a rather big UI annoyance, namely not being able to multi-select colonists and make them do/undergo (in this case training) things together. Its a rather big pain in the a** to go into every unique colonist's hostel profile to redistribute or train them. Hope you devs are aware.. :D

I for one, do not understand your question. As a former big banker, I would not give a loan to a player with no colony name. If you have no colony name, you are so new as to not know what you are doing. And to give a loan to such a newbie.... lol.

Every upgrade to your colonist is a win for YOU. Regardless if the Devs or whoever is involved. And if the Devs/Event offers to pay for it; You smile, take it, and thank them! (Even if you don't give a fuk) :)

The major point is: win or lose, the devs are REINBURSING you for whatever you spend on training your colonists! They could easily say "Here's your reward, now we will revert your colonists back to the way they were"

It's obviously not a graphical error if it's preventing him from playing, why not just ping his bank back to lvl 10 and make sure it works as normal. At the very least, he's paying you for the trouble.

It is... disheartening. I worked hard and long to be a level 10 bank. And then to be magically changed to level 11. And loose all options to give loans? And the devs say " it's just a graphically error?!" And when I received 999 billion credits... reported it, and whoosh; a unannounced update...GONE. As a $10 patron ( I wish I could pay more) I am disappointed.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I like the event. It could be a little more varied, but the game doesn't have enough mechanics to add a whole lot of variety yet. I haven't been playing for long, but the game really isn't that hard to optimize so I expect to get the top prize. Yes, the filter system is currently pretty bad, yes, the lack of batch actions is annoying, and yes, the development speed is a little slow (maybe it'd be better to release small updates quicker rather than pack it all up in one big thing), but for $1 a month, I think the devs are giving us an overall good game. I will probably stop patronage temporarily if 2.0 doesn't drop within the next couple of months, but until then, I like having a chill 20-30 minutes playing this game each day while I watch youtube or something. PS.: It does say, on the overview of the patreon page, that the game is in ALPHA. That essentially means the game isn't ready to be played yet, and we are first adopters helping to test it out and fund development. Again, the devs are giving us the game for just $1 a month, which is MUCH more reasonable than most patreon pages out there, AND you can get pretty much all of the game content for free anyway if you wish. Keep up the good work guys (y)

this event is 100% unfair. infact the game is seeming to be at a very slow pace of development. and to top it off the only thing you can do is to top off farming and minerals. i have been playing for quite a bit and still am at the very back. i would like to know what is to come next. in development. your goals. events like this are silly the people who have been here the longest with out reset will get everything. and taking loans?... no one really gives out loans. i've tried to get one.... you have alot of people that have gotten to the top that have even stopped playing. i feel that this game needs much more then just events. i wwas really looking at the exploration thing. the bars and casino.. and maybe even having people walk around. the city feels empty. also the place for breeding looks more like just a labs. maybe even making it look nicer for the colonists?.. other then that. its a good 2x a day check on game. also the fact that you take things away from your supporters if they arn't supporting is really weird. this game isn't anywhere close to done yet you have basicly a membership fee thing going on. when you could end up selling the game when your done with development. to take away parts of the game for someone who has pledged them self to the betterment of your game seems counter productive.

You only get paid out at the end of the event. So if you spend 2.1 million, at the end of the two weeks you will recieve the 1.5 million and the special colonist. Yes it's unfair. The profit is not high and training is extremely time consuming. Most people just train to do the break even value which is usually focusing on the middle training option. The colonist is randomly generated and is one of the only reasonable ways to get a colonist with stats higher than 25 base so can be worth it for those who can then afford to train the colonist to a high level. You keep all the farmers and you can assign them to the farm or breeding. Don't sell them as the return from the market is very low compared to the cost to train. It's not worth selling any levelled colonist on the market. If you need money, perhaps pick up a loan from a bank, just be aware you will have to pay the bank back, so it's not much of a reward there too.

It seems to me that the event is a little unfair with respect to small colonies. Not everyone has the opportunity to spend extra money on training the colonists. This means that not everyone will be able to train at the maximum pace. If I gain 121,000 experience, will I be immediately given 79,000 coins for further participation in the event? Or will the money be given out as a result of the event? or 121,000 money is the maximum goal? In general, in order to gain 121,000 experience, you need to do 3362 normal workouts, and spend 1 210 000 money. Or do 337 great workouts and spend 2,183,760 money A win will give only 1,572,000 money, i.e. 362,000 more, is this net profit (+ a unique colonist) from my work in 2 weeks?))) And then, if I train my colonists with only minimal training.
