Concept Sketches: Magma Thorns
Added 2022-09-22 00:36:15 +0000 UTCMagma thorns were one of my (many many many many) concept designs for a hypothetical "filler" enemy for a hypothetical fantasy dungeon.
They function essentially like your usual caste-based, eusocial, insect analogy. but their body was comprised almost entirely of molten rock, with a thick obsidian shell.
Depicted here are a normal, Soldier, and "Warden" thorn!
