Tomorrow is the day!
We are finally heading back to Bali! My flight is in the morning, so I will leave fairly early and be in for a full day of flying (I think itβs a total of 17 hours with one stop in Singapore).
Itβs been a productive summer, with my body in peak condition and all things movement-related. Now, we are ready to take things up a notch with movement and creation, hand balancing, and contortion, and enter the next fitness chapter!!
There is so much excitement and wonderful things to look forward to/ share with you guys.
The summer prep and not competing were good things because they finalised (in my mind) that my bodybuilding era was over. My priority now lies in maintaining the physique I have built, creating the most beautiful movement art, and moving into Hyrox π―.
It will be quite a transition with Hyrox training, but I am ready to give it my all (and will be in it for the long run). For me, itβs essential not to rush the base-building accumulation of the endurance phase of this transition. I will work closely with a coach and would like to take the time required to go in at a competitive level and go all the way with the sport. I feel incredibly blessed to be sharing the full journey with you all.
When in Bali, I will be back to 100-mile-per-hour training (basically three sessions a day). Recovery will be very important, and I have already decided on my schedule to optimise all training aspects, including hand-balancing contortion and movement. I will program my own sessions for hand balancing and contortion and aim to film and share these sessions with you.
As an artist, itβs good to have a change of environment once in a while; I think it refreshes ideas and brings new creativity and perspectives to creations.
Bali is such a beautiful island (the island of the Gods) and a very spiritual place. I have found so much peace here in the past. I value sunrise and sunset walks along the beach, and I connect with all the simple things that are truly important in life. I am thrilled and grateful to be heading back.
I have spent quite a lot of time here in the past and am looking forward to connecting with old friends and (Iβm sure) meeting many new wonderful people, too. That is one of the beautiful things about travel.
In addition, I love Balinese culture. The Balinese are so kind and friendly, have serenity, and have a beautiful aura and energy. They put so much love into everything they do. And you can feel it.
I want to say thank you for being here (as always) with me. Itβs time to continue the exciting journey!! I will share as much as possible with you all.
See you all in a couple of days ποΈ π
