Happy Sunday, all!
It's crazy to think that I was waking up in Ubud last week and am now back in the UK. A lot changes in a week.
I must admit it feels lovely to be home for a bit (not sure how long I will stay- it's just so cold!!). But it's beautiful to see friends and family and also have home comforts around. I love Christmas time, and this cold crisp weather certainly feels very festive.
I believe there is a Christmas market in Oxford- today is the last day, so I will see if I can catch that today for a look around. I also still need Christmas presents for my family, so I hope to find some lovely gifts.
For the last month, I haven't been that structured with training, etc., mainly because I was ill and just got out of the routine with everything. So this week's priority is to get back to 2 sessions a day and sort out my structure ( obviously will be a little difficult toward the end of the week as I will be heading to my parents for Christmas and then my sister's a couple of days later. But we will do the best we can.
I initially hoped to do the USA Arnolds as my Pro Debut, but unfortunately, with the setbacks, that will be unrealistic. So instead, look at competing later in 2023.
The Olympia was this weekend, and it's always so inspiring to see all the athletes competing and very motivating! One day I will be on that stage.
I weighed myself when I got home, and surprisingly my weight was the same as when I left - give or take a kg. I haven't been on it with diet etc., so it was interesting. I am softer- but that's alright in the off-season. I have no desire to get too bulky, so I aim to stay a similar weight and focus a bit on body recomp now that I am back in the UK and back on nutrition and complete training.
I am still awaiting parcels to come for the try-on (hopefully, they will arrive soon), but with all the strikes in the UK, it's hard to predict!
Jet lag is still a problem as Bali was 7hrs ahead, so I go to bed very early and then wake up very early. I will try my best over the next few days to stay awake a bit longer 😂. Anyway, I wish everyone a wonderful Sunday, and I am so grateful for all your support and kind messages.
Much love R 🥰 xx
