Marley is a survivor of the Korean Dog Meat trade. He was born in a factory on Jeju island and was rescued by SaveKoreanDogs, an organization based in Korea that advocates for ending the dog meat trade.

Alongside their advocacy, they also pull dogs from farms that are not to code and adopt them out across the US and CAN. If you can travel to an international airport and live in these countries, please consider adopting or fostering with this rescue. Donations are also always needed, as the adoption fees don't even cover the cost of their freedom-flight.

Morey came to the US with much fear of humans. He only knew of abuse and wire cages. He didn't know what leashes or toys were, or cars or bikes. They were all so terrifying.

Slowly, we gained his trust, and with his trust, we gained his never-ending gratitude, loyalty, and love. After fostering dozens and dozens of animals, I've never had such an attachment to a dog. By the end of our time together, he walked off leash, right beside me. It took so much for me not to adopt him myself, but if I were to adopt him, I couldn't go on to save the next foster that needs me.
