Adopted! Korean Meat Trade foster finds her forever home!

Great news!

The Hopeless Adoption Railroad was a complete success. I traveled to Charleston, South Carolina to adopt out my korean meat trade foster. She is currently in her new home and thriving, but I'll get to that part in a sec.

Animal Rescue Pupdates!

As I'm sure many of you know, I've been doing a lot of animal rescue work lately. This month, I fostered 11 different dogs, and most were at the same time! I still have 6 dogs in my house, and 7 in my care. 

But I have big news! 5 of my foster puppies were adopted! 5 new families, thrilled to have their life changed. I found 2 of the adopters myself, and couldn't be any more pleased with my choice.

My fosters!

Took some pictures of my nuggets -- mom is a red mini husky and was dumped at my local shelter with her babies and sister. I usually try to avoid fostering puppies (they're a lot of work and I love the company of senior dogs), but I offered to be a last resort for them. No one else stepped up to the plate, so here they are with me! They're about 2 weeks old right now and I'll have them until they're at least 8 weeks! The white pups are girls (well, one is more like cream), the brown pups...

My baby boy passed away

5 years, 7 months, and 5 days since I brought you home. You were so tiny and sick. The first week I had you, your vet visit was over $1000, and boy, you taught me how to budget well.

My baby likely won’t pull through

He was supposed to leave the hospital 11am yesterday. He’s still fighting for his life. We’re going to do one more day of hospitalization, but if he can’t maintain his BG levels on his own, then there’s nothing else the doctors could do and he won’t be coming home with me.

By the end of the day I’ll know whether he’ll need to be humanely euthanized. I just ask that if you give condolences, to please do it in this thread vs flooding my inbox here. I’m just very...

So a little backstory, this bathing suit comes from a store called Calzedonia... it actually had tops that fit me and the whole bikini was $50. These swim shops are all over Europe, but I never heard of them back in the states. I picked out 3 bathing suits from them, one yellow, one green, and one red (which will be next months set!)
