2023-08-15 22:51:49 +0000 UTCI like how sympathetic to the parents you are. I didn't make the connection that their behavior could've been caused by thinking they'd lost her. The dad only changed his mind after the mom said the neighbors were talking about her, so I assumed there might've been something in his past that makes him want Eve to feel accepted with and normal like everybody else, but he doesn't have the emotional capacity or self reflection or something to realize how his hangups about it are affecting Eve so negatively

That fast paced, creative fight on the bridge was the exact kind of action I’ve been hoping to see from a Green Lantern-style hero like Eve for basically my whole life lol
