Ishigami and Miko brought in new elements to the relationships of our main cast, while Hurricane Maki gives them a reality check of the possible "bad ending" should they wait too long and fail to act.

We just did not see until now that while Kaguya was panicking outside the karaoke room, Hayasaka and Miyuki had an actual serious conversation and not just death by rapping. Blue ass = Japanese idiom meaning immature or inexperienced (You can Google "Mongolian spot" to learn more) EDIT: Just like that, we've actually had a mini-Hayasaka arc over the span of 4 episodes.

They have to cut a lot of corners and put in a ton of overtime to come out with animation this good. Very little sakuga animation in this series, so they decide to be incredibly creative and experimental with their techniques, its a total masterpiece from a technical standpoint.

"You're the type of person who's never had the organs of a sea slug invade their ears" would just be the most insane fucking line to hear out of context LMFAO. Now that I think of it, all of this is very confusing out of context for the characters within the show. Only the viewers understand why Chika is rapping about 2 dudes fucking but all the characters just have to listen to it anyways.
