I mention that I went to a concert for a band she thinks is childish and she proceeds to passively aggressively mock my interest throughout the rest of the night. Eventually I said “Are you jealous because I’m free you’re not?” That wasn’t the end of her annoyance but it felt good to say and not be ashamed, thanks Goodwin!

I was always praised for my high grades that when I finally got to the point where I began to really struggle, I would decide just to fail or miss the assignment even if I could have at least gotten a passing grade. It felt "good" when my teachers would tell me that they knew I had the potential, and I was scared to lose that "they're smart, but just not trying" image by asking for help or just trying my best. It really messed me up for some time.

To fend them off, she presented each of them an “impossible task.” Middle Counselor Isonokami was asked to get her a cowry shell from a swallow’s nest. Each member of the student council is based off one of the suitors. Ishigami is Isonokami and his “impossible task” is to win over Tsubame, whose name means “swallow.” Over the course of the series, each member of the student council will encounter an “impossible task.” In the original tale, each suitor fails at achieving their impossible task. But in Kaguya-sama, the outcome of each impossible task does not always follow the source that inspired it. So even if you become familiar with the original tale, you won’t immediately know how it will turn out in the story of the anime/manga. *It wasn't translated, but I believe Tsubame is top 5 academically in her grade.
