In To Your Eternity 1x20, Echoes, battered around by the events of life, Fushi ends a stunning season just as alone as when it began, only less so. Hayase enjoys some R&rR

hopefully they get the budget and time they require to make season two better than this season cause the second half of this show had some insane production issues, so much bad animation and various visual mistakes.

I loved this anime, all the themes it explores and dealing with loss, it’s something I haven’t come across to often. I cannot wait for season two but at the same time I’m feeling some trepidation in spite of my feelings.

Metastatic Malady

ughhhh i caught up i have all the feels also \d e c a d e s?!\ its like seeing Farmer Thorfinn but also why is he trying to be a Senku? stop exploding things thanks

Brimmy

True…but Demon Slayer and Mob are two incredible shows as well. FruBa was GOATED tho.

benj

Never thought about it like that

And yeah, the show really does come full circle with season 1. When we meet The Boy, we find out that he was left behind with all the elderly, and, obviously, outlived all of them. He likely went through an experience similar to Fushi's with Pioran, then subsequently lived in isolation for years until Fushi came along.

"This is a Michelin restaurant. It's not about the food, it's about the experience. Don't you understand?" "I feel like a lot is going to change for Fushi's social circle when he figures out how to print money," "No one makes jumbo pears like Fushi does," (the jingle returns to my mind yet again) "Fushi: The Economy Destroyer. That's not right. The Business Destroyer," "90 years old, still kicking ass!" "That's very convenient," (Yeah, speaking in video game terms, Fushi has absolutely unlimited inventory) "DECADES?! Now *that's* a timeskip," "Oh my god, I don't know how I feel about this," "You can never trust these anime dates," "And Hayase, with her insane levels of ~thirst~ for Fushi," (I'M CRYING. the jokes from Goodwin about this have been enough. What am I gonna do in season twoooo)

Geneva The Weeba

The day has come. No more Fruits Basket, My Hero, or TYE on the channel. 😭😭😭

Meanwhile, Hayase is giving some Yandere love to some poor bloke.

Immo for Immortal. As for why, no clue.

I think going through the struggle and coping with someone important to you slowly losing themselves in age is a very important experience in life. This episode hits hard as I have dealt with a helping a loved one while going through the same stages up until they passed away recently. A very powerful and difficult experience of my life happening at a young age. It definitely helped make me grow up mentally very quickly in life even tho I like being stupid and childish when I can lol

L.C.

Not sure why Fushi is called Immo in here lol

They showed all the dead people in the OP but tried to fake us out with Tonari 😭😭

Nick

I realized they pulled something truly devious. In the OP, Tonari is shown hanging from a cliff with blood leaking down her eye and cheek. In the actual scene, I'm pretty sure she has tears in her eyes
