So, I'm SUPER late, but I will say Yuki seems to have Kyo's problem but inverted. Kyo didn't want people to see the real him because he believed he was ugly. Yuki is seen by EVERYONE as beautiful, but they all devote themselves to him without bothering to look under his surface.

One of my favorite characters, I totally forgot how long this show takes before you finally get introduced to the other student council members. This plotline of Yuki grappling with the new responsibilties and people to deal with in the council is one of my favorite storylines of the whole show, expect a lot more coming from this introduction episode. Machi is also fantastic as well, her intro in this episode was very.....off putting? Definitely perplexing though and makes her compelling to see why she was destroying the room before Yuki got there and just what her whole deal is. These are two new fantastic characters who get a lot of screentime, can't wait for more of this.

2021-10-24 04:29:12 +0000 UTCI do like the personal growth from Motoko this episode. It shows that the words she heard from Hanajimaβs brother really had an impact on her. Sheβs starting to look past her own feelings and that makes me want to root for her a bit.
