In the My Hero Academia season 4 episode 11 Lemillion, Mirio does better than becoming All Might by becoming fully Lemillion.

My Hero Academia 4x11 Reaction Extended (YT link below)

Comments

Oh right when i got to this in the manga ages ago and mirio turned around and started kicking the shit out of them: I truly wondered what the fuck made them think he couldn't fight them? He may have lost his quirk but he can still kick the shit out of ya XD

Brimmy

k everyone losing it over Mirio i wont drop my own into that seen this too many times but what i DIDN'T know till now is that the VA for Shin Nemoto (Confession quirk) is the same as Shigure for fruits basket :3

Brimmy

I'm a bit late but Chisaki didn't just throw the guy in the white coat away. This guy is the only crew member he cares about, which is why Chisaki stopped his attack to catch him. Would it have been someone else he would just attack through him.

Maurice Adler

I was disappointed to see that they changed it in the dub. Figures they would since Star Wars is so big over here in the west

Gernol

Yesss at badass Deku's entrance! The next episode and the one after that are breathtaking to say the least. And I'm ngl I did shed a few tears watching this episode and the following.

Jenny bete

You might know by now that the author is a star wars fan so here's a little fun fact in the sub his ultimate move isn't called phantom threat but "phantom menace"

MagnusVD

I remember crying like a baby in this episode. Mirio is such a good boy !!

Shark-ira

Please for the love of ALL THAT IS HOMY RELEASE THE. EXT TWO EPISODES AT THE SAME TIME PLEASSEEE!

hays collins

Ugh we are soooo close!!!!

hays collins

I wanted to tell you in case you didn’t know, Miro was fighting Overhaul for 5 minutes without his quirk…..Lemillion is just amazing

CJ

Man, that timing in the end credits scene was flawless, how do you do that? And that perfect blend between bone dry delivery and the genuine emotion behind it, great moment!

kingafreund

wait... THAT'S what that show is about??? That just makes me want to watch it even more, it was already on my radar

Nick

Lemillion favorite character.

William Abbott

This is my favorite episode of the whole show. I genuinely looked to Deku after this episode and thought he really has to step up in a big way. There is no reason to say Mirio couldn’t be just as much a symbol of peace as Deku, and this fight could have been over immediately if Mirio had One for All. The way he doesn’t skip a beat after loosing his incredible quirk has All Might vibes all over it.

Donovan Brown

I saw someone say once, Although Mirio may never be the symbol of Peace, he'll always be the symbol of hope.

SirLagginton

Never noticed that before, but it’s so true. I love Deku’s development

Amelia

"Murder is fine but misgendering trans people is where we draw the line." - Twice and Toga I love them

Bloodchronism

That end credit scene always reminds me of the feeling of All Might showing up at the end of season 1 during the USJ incident. The sense of relief when he shows up just when things look their worst.

J Valentine

Yeah! Imagine having his quirk and you have to cut off all information from the universe to your body, and still figure out a way to do it accurately, like phantom limb shit.

Sam B

Mirio's hard work does not go unnoticed. He fought with everything he had to protect little Eri and it payed off because he was able to buy enough time for reinforcements! The idea that he fought quirkless for 5 minutes against a guy as crazy as Overhaul is also a testament to Nighteye's tutelage.

Athena

This is one of my favorite episodes in the anime or in most anime of that matter, FYI - In the Manga there is a slide that gives more context - from the moment he lost his quirk to where the episode ends was 5 minutes... He stood his ground against a Boss level enemy without any quirk for 5 fucking minutes. I wish they showed that more and not just a few images of him fighting - was still epic though. all I wanna say is Le-million has my vote for best boy

Christo Badenhorst

When Mirio says he experiences something more disorienting on a daily basis, he’s talking about his own quirk where if he passes through stuff he loses his senses such as sight and hearing so it is even more disorienting for him than just being drunk

Andre Tan

Diversity win! The villains trying to upturn society and murdering millions respect your gender identity! (Ngl, im happy tho)

Anna Lena Ciplajevs

"Save us, Aang or something, I don't know" L0l

Drake Chuckle

God I love Mirio so much. He truly became the best version of himself and in a way became Eri's greatest hero to give her hope in a dark abusive world where she felt no love. There's subtitles in the manga and some versions of the anime during the slideshow when he lost his powers when he kept fighting that says that he fought for 5 additional minutes against chisaki despite losing his quirk despite being in so much danger, he fought for her sake. I think that's beautiful and I'm excited for the reactions to come!

Skyler Anderson

I've been looking forward to this episode so much based off your comments on mirio in previous episodes lol. Also super glad you were able to take some time off and that you weren't harassed by trolls. You shouldn't ever be afraid to take time off to take care of yourself. Wishing you the best and looking forward to the rest of season 4.

Marcelo

Honestly I love your reactions! I was wondering in case you want to react to a new show, I would like to recommend Bungou Stray Dogs which the characters are based on actual Arthurs and their powers are based on their most recognized book/literature😊

Daisy Munoz

Loving and kind people on the internet? Alright, we need to shut this down, can't have that going on 'round these parts. On the real though, glad you're back and got time to process and deal with things as you see fit. That said, I'll keep recommending 'Violet Evergarden' and 'Saga of Tanya the Evil' as two shows that I think would really be good for you to analyze.

William Wellman

Yeah I think his quirk represents so many things... talent, hard work, discipline, dedication, mastery, etc. AND potentially even a source of great joy for him. And taken from him in an instant.

Alex G

This, the anime not including that info for anime onlys makes the clip show less impactful,. This man survived and let me tell you 5 minutes in a fight is an eternity

Kollie123

Deku: do you think i can be a hero even without a quirk? Lemillilion : ill show you why im a hero without my quirk!

C Cuenca

Mirio is the main character if you ask me 😂

Tyler Owens

Just the amount of meticulous detail that has gone into the quirks for this show/manga is praise worthy. A lot of superhero stories will just leave it unexplained. "Well, laser eyeball hand guy shoots lasers. Don't question it. MHA is instead like "Laser eyeball hand guy absorbs light and heat from various sources before converting it into a stable stream of energy to attack with thus creating a-"

Nick

So many quirks have extremely specific rules, it makes me think of FMA a lot. Momo is the biggest example, having to memorize the ingredients of what she wants to make. Or Overhaul disassembling and reassembling things. Twice being forced to know the general measurements of whatever he wants to copy. There's a sort of take and a give for many quirks. Even Bakugo has nitroglycerin sweat that he secretes before igniting. Or in Deku's case, he sacrifices his strength for huge boosts. In a very weird way, it is similar to alchemy and I love that. Quirks are like a Mish Mash of alchemy and bending

Nick

I think why it hurts so much to see Mirio lose his quirk is because they showed well how hard Mirio worked to mastered it. Then all that effort seems to have gone to waste. But then you see him fight still and stand up and hold his own against overhall quirkless. And you can see it really wasn't the quirk that made Mirio great.

Sage

I've thought about this a bit whenever I've seen this brought up and my first thought is always that even though it's not the same as a regular bullet, it IS still traveling incredibly fast. And it has a needle on it ha. I wonder what kind of damage the impact did to Mirio. It hit him in his back, too. Imagine if it hit Eri in the face, which I think is where it was aimed, right?

Alacor

That clip show before the ending hit, in the manga it stated that while quirkless, Mirio fought for 5 minutes before being struck the way he was. Really great guy

MrBulldog714

It's a heartbreaking episode, but also one of the most beautiful pieces of art in this series. and i'm gonna stop talking there.

Josh

There are only so many things, lots of art dances around the same stuff haha

Alex G

It's so tragic and powerful how, although Mirio couldn't have known, that bullet could have actually solved some things if only it had actually hit Erie. Erie loses this quirk which has been such a burden to her, she becomes useless to the Hassaikai who are no longer able to reproduce the drug, and Mirio is still able to use his full power to fight them. But because Mirio is such a true, pure-hearted hero, he doesn't even hesitate to jump in the way. I wonder, if he'd known, if he would have done it anyway, just because he didn't want her to be scared.

Xylen

Man I really love dubbed overhaul towards the end of the fight “you’re powerless” just felt like it had so much anger and annoyance behind it

Kollie123

When Mirio said he deals with something much worse than the intoxicating quirk on the regular, I'm pretty sure he's referring to the fact that he's basically blind, deaf, can't breathe, and what not when he uses his quirk. He's built up a resistance to being disoriented.

Alacor

I didn't expect someone to quote "X gon give it to ya" in MHA review.

malik

I love how Horikoshi really said "trans rights" for that scene! and not only that, it was good characterization for Toga and Twice compared to Overhaul and his crew. Like last episode, it shows that the league of villains have close bonds and friendships, whereas Overhaul is cold, and can't even respect Magne's gender

Francesca White

Definitely one of my favourite MHA episodes! Mirio is such a wholesome boy

DVK

Finallyyyy, I've been so hyped for this one! Haha.

Alacor

Things are finally getting good

gotta click fast

Josh
