Obviously Bakugo himself couldn't have been there, but Jiro and Hagakure were both still unconscious at the hospital from the gas attack.

2021-08-14 23:12:53 +0000 UTCYou have very strong negative reactions to girls dumping guys or putting them down when they expose a hidden part of themselves ("I'm a superhero", "this is my room, I like to work out", etc.) , which is perfectly understandable. It's a moment of trust and vulnerability on the guy's part, and the fear of that sort reaction (especially from women) is what leads a lot of men to embraced the more closed-off and emotionally toxic parts of masculinity. However, I think that the reason to control your anger is the same reason a lot of people control their anger at Mineta or Kaminari for being perverted. They're all just teenagers and don't really understand or can't even imagine how their actions will negatively impact their peers later in life.

2021-08-14 03:23:11 +0000 UTCFun fact: According to a recent interview with Horikoshi, Bakugou's room has a sort of smart/ contemporary style, Tsu's has "a bit of an ethnic flair" (which I'm not quite sure what that means), and Mineta's room is "just a disaster." From that same interview he says that on his days off Aizawa does lesson planning and "follows stray cats" which idk I thought was funny. And I very much appreciate what you said about Hagekure, she didn't have to do Kirishima like that

2021-08-14 02:46:19 +0000 UTCCan confirm when I was watching this episode on Crunchyroll few days ago, a comment from when it was airing basically said "idc that this is canon in the manga it shouldn't exist" I think people forget that story beats like these are important too, especially because this one in particular gives the heroes themselves a needed break (while also letting us deal with the aftermath)

2021-08-14 02:35:05 +0000 UTCWhat a beautiful and much needed wrap up to the arc. The show and the students recognize that they need a much needed quieter episode after such emotional events. I loved seeing all their individual personalities are shown just through their room decorations. I think what the show does well is having such a diverse and awesome cast of fun characters. While not all students get the spotlight, I think every character is unique and is definitely someone's favorite.

I have never really felt like the story was just Deku's story, because the author has ingrained all of the other students personalities so deeply into everything

2021-08-14 01:31:14 +0000 UTCi love slice of life episodes like this, i feel it's much needed for a lot of shounen shows, and i actually really dislike a lot of shounen because it feels like they never give u a breather to just watch the characters interact with each other in their daily lives. i think MHA is really good because it's able to do a good balance
