Even in such a dangerous and unprecedented situation, he has faith that the students can handle themselves, at least to some extent. He's rational and trusting, giving them the responsibility to protect themselves and protect their friends. I also loved the moment, even if it's a small one, where he reassures Kota that Deku will be okay, and emphasizes "Thank you" over "I'm sorry". Man, I also love Tokoyami and Dark Shadow, it's a scary form when uncontrolled, but what a cool concept! Also hats off to the Class-B spotlight, they definitely deserve some more attention from the show, too
