***POLL CLOSED*** Poll Results
Added 2021-04-05 00:42:37 +0000 UTC***POLL CLOSED*** (Okay I guess this is actually the final update 4/11)
It was a very close race but My Hero Academia has taken it with 221 votes. Runner up was Hunter x Hunter with 210 votes, followed by Mob Psycho with 193 votes (at time of writing).
Thank you to everyone who voted!!! This was poll turned out to be a lot more eventful and fun than I expected.
A reminder: even if your show didn't win this time, there is a HIGH CHANCE I will watch it eventually. For example, Hunter x Hunter is guaranteed at this point, since I believe it was 3rd in the last poll and 2nd on this one. Also, even if your show did not rank highly, there is still a chance I will watch it since not all shows will be decided through polls.
QUESTION FOR YOU!!!: My Hero Academia subbed or dubbed? I would prefer dubbed unless there is a huge disparity in quality between the two. Let me know in the comments :D
***End Update***
***FINAL UPDATE*** (4/10)
Okay! So I will be closing the poll tomorrow.
A few people requested a final 5 poll, but I'd prefer not to discard votes that have already been cast (since votes can be changed anyway)
So consider this the final vote!
It seems that the 4 shows in range of winning are:
- My Hero Academia
- Hunter x Hunter
- Mob Psycho
- Gravity Falls
Since it will likely be one of the above 4 shows, now would be a good time to cast a vote for one of them if you haven't already, or vote for all of them except for the one you don't like, etc.
Thanks again to everyone who voted! No matter what show wins, I'm looking forward to getting started next week :D
*** END UPDATE***
***UPDATE*** Please Read
Welcome back to what will henceforth be referred to as "Poll-Gate 2021!" :'D
Firstly thank you to everyone who voted and expressed their opinions below! It's been helpful for me to read the comments and look at the poll from multiple points of view.
After reading the comments and taking some time to think it over, I'd like to make a few changes and also to clarify a few things :
1. I've decided NOT to do Attack on Titan exclusively, even though it's leading the polls. I went back and forth on this because I hate to disregard votes. But ultimately I decided I'd prefer to stick with the two show format for a few reasons:
- People who like the AOT series will still have the AOT series, so hopefully no harm done.
- People who do not like the AOT series will hopefully have something else to watch.
- A shorter gap between when I catch up to season 4 and when the final installment is released (even though there will still be some time in between)
- More stability as well as variety for me.
2. Don't forget you can vote for multiple shows!
3. I will be choosing the NEXT NEXT show myself without a poll. I realized I may not have announced this adequately, but my plan for a while has been to alternate choosing shows by poll and choosing shows by myself (for example, FMAB and Dragon Prince were chosen by poll, and I chose AOT myself). I think that creates a best of both worlds situation where I can do what is most popular while also doing things I feel most drawn to, which might include more niche shows, non-anime, etc. So don't give up hope if it looks like I will never watch your show because it is not receiving enough votes, or even if it's not on the poll at all!
4. I will probably watch most of these shows eventually. I enjoy doing this and I'm not planning on stopping anytime soon :)
That's it! I apologize for the confusion and for going back on something that is currently leading the polls. Unfortunately, I cannot edit this list so it is stuck there as a grim reminder of my failings. Thanks again for the participation and all the great feedback, and for all the patience as I bumble through this lol.
Oh, one last thing, I've seen recommendations that I do a "final five" poll or something like that. What would be the benefits of doing that kind of thing? I'm open to the idea if it actually would reflect your choices better.
*** END UPDATE***
First of all, A HUGE THANK YOU for the amazing recommendations.
Unfortunately, Patreon polls are limited to only 25 options, so I was forced to choose based on the frequency of recommendations and my intuition.
I realize that this is an imperfect way to choose options for the poll, since many may have avoided recommending shows that were already mentioned. I apologize for the oversight in this way, or if your recommendation did not make this list.
It is my hope to watch as many of your recommendations as possible over time, and so for many of these shows it is not a question of "if" but "when."
I have also decided there are a few things I HAVE to do that are not represented on the poll. Those will happen by surprise, time permitting :)
Overall I hope this will be CLOSE to representing the shows that currently hold the greatest interest.
Don't forget that you can vote for multiple choices simultaneously!
I will bump this poll on Saturday and close it on Sunday (US time).
Can't wait to see the results!

Yes, it is very good.

2021-06-10 04:16:37 +0000 UTCI haven't re-watched MHA at all since it started airing so I'm interested in seeing how much I remember about the early seasons. As far as dub or sub, I haven't watched the dub but I've heard it's pretty pretty good. Dubbed anime in general seems to be a lot better these days than it used to.

2021-04-14 02:49:12 +0000 UTCDubbed for sure! There’s not a huge disparity and the VA’s do a great job. One of the best dubs out imo

2021-04-14 00:52:30 +0000 UTCWhile I agree My Hero is definitely not as much of a thinker as some of the other shows he has previously watched; I believe that it will offer a nice dichotomy to Attack On Titan's absolutely brutal and depressing storyline. Like, Alex could use a mental break from Attack on Titan, and My Hero may be a good Shonen to watch for that reason. I'd say My Hero, especially in the manga now, is about as "deep" or just lesser so compared to something like The Last Airbender at this point in time. Edit: Also, it wouldn't be fair to compare every other show he watches to Attack On Titan, in terms of insightfulness, because the shows like that are in quite limited supply unfortunately. And he already said he will most likely watch the other top voted shows that are arguably better than My Hero. (Demon Slayer, HxH, etc.)

2021-04-13 19:20:09 +0000 UTCIm a Sub purist as I always believe the originally casted VA's in their native language in a show being made in their country is the only Canon and 100% correct version to watch any anime. Thats just me though, Im sure the dub is great and I'm looking forward to watching MHA for the first time!

2021-04-13 18:25:07 +0000 UTCDo u rly think my hero would be the best option for a channel like this? Ye I think it’s a good anime but the best part of Goodwins channel is his insightful overview and my hero just isn’t rly deep like how aot is so not much overview can be given.

2021-04-13 02:57:59 +0000 UTCHey Alex, I have followed your channel for about a year now. My Hero is the show I'm most invested in, as I have followed the anime and manga for several years. In my experience, the SUBBED version of the show is the best version. I've seen that some good dialogue or expression of emotions is often lost woth the DUBBED version. All in all it will be your choice with what you like best, but just to add input, the sub is better. (Atleast in my opinion)

2021-04-13 02:23:26 +0000 UTCDub is good
Jake Rosendahl
2021-04-13 01:56:04 +0000 UTCI agree, but I'm sure he'll still have fun with MHA, even if it's not really that amazing from a writing-standpoint. We'll eventually get HxH in the not-too-distant-future anyways.
N
2021-04-13 00:25:35 +0000 UTCHxH would've been great, but MHA is a lot of fun too, even if it's not on the same level writing-wise. Hopefully you enjoy it! Dub or sub is fine - I prefer sub, but it's more like FMAB, where the dub is still good, than something like HxH, where the only acceptable option is the sub. The only thing about HxH is that as far as it goes for its depth and thematic analysis, it's not really until over halfway through that it really starts to pick up, and that's a LONG time for a reaction. That's well over the entire length of FMAB. Yes, the CA arc is the greatest and best-written arc in any manga/anime series ever, and I cannot wait for the day you react to it (which will probably be over a year from now if you do end up reacting to it next), but there's gonna be a lot of rather basic episodes to get through first. Good, even great at times, episodes, but still very basic ones. But also MHA is completely basic and pretty meaningless throughout its entirety, and it's over 100 episodes. It's like Jojo's Bizarre Adventures, but with even less depth (Jojo starts to get more thematic elements with part 5 and especially with parts 7 and 8) and less fun (Stands >>>>> Quirks). It'll be interesting to see you react to something more basic like that, compared to FMAB.

2021-04-12 20:17:54 +0000 UTCAs someone who almost always prefers subs the MHA dub is actually really good, there are many times I even prefer their dub over their sub. But if you do decide to watch Hunter x Hunter, sub is the only good option for that show, the dub doesn’t even compare

2021-04-12 17:44:10 +0000 UTCMy Hero Dub is wonderful :). And if you were missing a certain Alex Louise Armstrong you'll be in good hands ;)

2021-04-12 16:01:22 +0000 UTCDub please! It's a decent dub and when it comes to watching others react it can be difficult having to read subtitles and watch someone react.

2021-04-12 15:47:05 +0000 UTCThe dub for MHA is really good and I wouldn’t say you’re getting a worse experience by watching it

2021-04-12 14:57:20 +0000 UTCBoth are amazing imo but it does have an impeccable dub and there's no problem watching the dub
Charard Brown
2021-04-12 14:36:43 +0000 UTCThe dub should be perfectly solid. There are moments where both accel over the other, but I think both would be enjoyable.

2021-04-12 14:16:17 +0000 UTCsub is definitely better but im ok with both
Buse
2021-04-12 13:23:34 +0000 UTCMy Hero has one of the best dubs out there and it would be a shame to miss out on that experience. Additionally I think that having at least one series dubbed would be cool for the people who don't really like watching subbed shows.
Ace
2021-04-12 13:18:28 +0000 UTCIn my oppinion sub is always better, and although I’ve seen some MHA eng dub scenes that were okay, the sub is supperior and the voices fit the charecters a lot better.
Amelia
2021-04-12 13:10:38 +0000 UTCI say watch my hero academia in dub its easier for people to follow along with you especially when it's a video inside another video the words start getting small but I watch your AOT reactions too so either way I'll be watch lol
Jay Crigler
2021-04-12 10:39:50 +0000 UTCMHA and HxH both have very good dubs but also both have a few moments were the subs go above and beyond, so i’d say it’s up to you which you want to watch
macrowave
2021-04-12 09:45:46 +0000 UTCMHA has one of the best dubs so i wouldn’t mind either sub or dub . i actually watch both versions and i love them both. armstrong’s VA is one of the best and he features in the dub too! AOT miche’s sub VA also plays that same character (they both do amazing)

2021-04-12 09:41:43 +0000 UTCMHA can definitely be dubbed. I know it's taboo to say but I actually like some voices more in dub han sub. Blasphemy I know

2021-04-12 09:34:06 +0000 UTCHonestly guys, hunterxhunter is much more his style, mha is more of a shounen shounen y’know, he would have so much more to talk about in HxH

2021-04-12 09:32:44 +0000 UTCMHA has one of the best dubs in anime IMO.
Noah Hoorn
2021-04-12 08:58:23 +0000 UTCThe dub is decent, Major Alex Louis Armstrong's voice actor is one of the main cast so y'know... epic af lol.
TheTrashBandit
2021-04-12 08:33:24 +0000 UTCMHA is one of the 3 anime that I recommend to watch dubbed (the other two being Bebop and FMAB), so yeah dub is fine, although subs are great as well, of course. Can't really go wrong, I'd say. If and when you do HxH, however, that should definitely be watched subbed. The dub for that is horrendous.
Sal Inger
2021-04-12 08:08:28 +0000 UTCThe subs are a lot better imo, but to each their own. In my experience, the biggest flaw with the dub is the fact that they sometimes opt to translate things to something completely different than what was being said in Japanese. It changes/diminishes the experience. If you really want to experience the show fully as the creator intended, I'd say watch the sub. Nevertheless it's not THAT bad, so the dub still works fine in terms of the bigger picture things being translated.
Stefan
2021-04-12 07:24:39 +0000 UTCThe dub is pretty good! I've stopped watching MHA myself, but I know the first two seasons are really fun to watch so I'm looking forward to it!

2021-04-12 07:17:14 +0000 UTCNo one is being an elitist. No one said you are dumb if you enjoy mha. It is just that a lot of people enjoy Alex's reactions because of his thought provoking discussions and the way he tries to extract lessons from shows. Mha is a good show but has very little substance on that front (especially for 5 seasons of content).
Mert
2021-04-12 07:16:16 +0000 UTCThe subtitled version is superior in quality. The voices fit the characters better, the emotion is stronger, the authenticity of it just outshines the admittedly good english dub.
2021-04-12 07:11:45 +0000 UTCI would say you should watch the dub (although it may be not as high quality) because I think more people would watch it.
Seimän
2021-04-12 07:10:42 +0000 UTCThe dub for MHA is great and I really recommend it
Excalibur Gaming
2021-04-12 07:09:43 +0000 UTCI'd say the subs are definitely better quality overall, so that would be my recommendation, but the dubs are good enough to enjoy if you have a strong preference in that regard. A couple of characters' VAs are much worse in the dub imo (POSSIBLY including the main character), and a couple of others are done excellently, so it's kind of a toss-up. If you go for the dub without experiencing the subs it'll be totally fine.
Xylen
2021-04-12 06:54:27 +0000 UTCMHA Dub is VERY good imo

2021-04-12 06:39:50 +0000 UTCbnha has a pretty good dub but i think the subs are better, especially in terms of translation (some choices made for the dub made me go "HUH??? WHAT ARE YOU DOING" many times)
Ad
2021-04-12 06:30:58 +0000 UTCYeah that is really one of the biggest factors for me. I think it makes the viewing format more difficult and also it makes editing more difficult.
Alex G
2021-04-12 06:26:46 +0000 UTCAlso the I'd personally go with the sub because it has some of the better voice actors and some that play in aot as well. Eren, Armin and Connie in particular. But the dub is honestly good as well since it's easier to edit that way.
2021-04-12 06:26:05 +0000 UTCI'm thinking that once I'm caught up with a show and new episodes come out, I can just watch the new episodes immediately when they air, without breaking the stride of whatever other series I am watching. This seems manageable because it will likely only be one new episode per week, depending on how it airs. For example, I will catch up to AOT before the show is fully complete, but when the final part of season 4 ends I will 100% be jumping on that episode to episode :)
Alex G
2021-04-12 06:25:22 +0000 UTCThis is one of those shows where the english voice acting is very well done. The japanese is still decisively better and the performances are much funnier but I understand your reasons for wanting to use the dub if possible. I think it'll be good either way!
KJ Gaona
2021-04-12 06:20:27 +0000 UTCDub is perfectly fine. I watch both versions so either option is cool with me.
Shark-ira
2021-04-12 06:18:59 +0000 UTCThe dub for my hero is definitely better then most dubs the only problem I have with it is that the main characters va is very annoying in my opinion. That's why I personally watch the sub. I also in general just prefer sub to dubbed. I think that you can go with either one for this show though.
Kadin Lebreton
2021-04-12 06:18:05 +0000 UTCI'm not the biggest fan of MHA, it was fun for a while but I dropped off after the Overhaul Arc. That being said, there is a WHOLE LOT of high-horse fart sniffing going around these comments regarding the supposed 'intellectual' value of this or that show. Media Elitists are the worst. Like, just let people enjoy whatever kind of story they happen to like without making them feel dumb for it, yeah?
2021-04-12 06:17:52 +0000 UTCMy hero actually has a pretty good dub. In my opinion still can't compete with the Japanese voice actors. But one problem is that it has some mistranslations that can get pretty annoying and confusing.
2021-04-12 06:16:38 +0000 UTCI'd say dubbed, partially because I think the dub is good quality, but also because it's actually harder for me to pay attention to your reactions when my attention is divided between you and reading subs to keep track of where you're at in a scene.
Kingsley
2021-04-12 06:10:34 +0000 UTCMy Hero has one of the better dubs in the world of anime in my opinion. I do prefer the sub however because the voices are just iconic, but both are great and you should do what you are most comfortable with.
2021-04-12 06:09:39 +0000 UTCDub is better honestly for my hero. Also better in general for reacting. But i say do the version you would prefer, no reason to lower your enjoyment of a series.
Aquamirage
2021-04-12 05:59:18 +0000 UTCsort of a loaded question, but i'm pretty sure MHA is still releasing episodes, so out of curiosity (not just for MHA, but also future incomplete series) what do you plan to do once you catch up? will it be replaced with another series and you wait to watch new episodes in bulk? or will it be an ongoing thing?
joe martin
2021-04-12 05:59:04 +0000 UTCHonestly, the dub for this show is great, a lot of similar VAs from FMAB (Chris Sabat/Alex Louis Armstrong, John Swasey/Hoenheim, Eric Vale/Solf J. Kimblee, J. Michael Tatum/Scar, AND SO MANY MORE). The sub is better in some regards, but overall, the dub is great. And honestly, the subs for the most recent Season 5 episodes have been kinda bad lol. I'm sure this show winning will make a lot of people upset because it's not the AMAZINGLY DEEP and MIND BLOWING experience they were hoping for, but I'm really looking forward to it at least.
Jo
2021-04-12 05:58:55 +0000 UTCSubbed is always the choice. I found really annoying the main character voice while fighting in English and there is a scene... Oh my, if the dub is a 9 on average in this scene is a 1, it's a season finale but can't explain more without spoilers IMO this would require another poll hahaha

2021-04-12 05:54:56 +0000 UTCI hope to see MP100 soon-ish, it's my favorite anime and I think it'll be a good fit for the channel. Also Infinity Train, that show's amazing, but no telling when/if we'll see that one.
Musicisum
2021-04-12 05:54:35 +0000 UTCBoth subbed and dubbed are really great! I love the voice cast for the dub. I would recommend the dub since it will be easier to focus on whats happening but really its up to your own preference on this one. They are both high quality.

2021-04-12 05:52:17 +0000 UTCMy hero dub is really good, I do prefer it over the sub. If you're like me and think dub is pretty good then you won't be disappointed with it, very fun to watch and some scenes are way better in dub.

JDalsing
2021-04-11 01:41:20 +0000 UTCThe problem I have with MHA is that there's little to no character growth for the protagonist compared to the other options. Its side characters are the reason I still watch it, because they add to the story, unlike the MC. It's entertaining, but I agree with a lot of commenters that Alex's Analyses and enjoyment would be served by another show. That said, I suppose, switching from the intensity of AOT to the brainless enjoyment of MHA could be an interesting dichotomy.
JDalsing
2021-04-11 01:40:08 +0000 UTCDisregarding the length, surely you'd have to agree that HxH provides a lot more depth and thought provoking themes compared to MHA, no?

2021-04-11 01:04:44 +0000 UTCVinland Saga would be the perfect show for this channel. Shame it's gotten so few votes.
Sal Inger
2021-04-11 01:02:52 +0000 UTCMHA is a good show but it's a bad fit for Alex imo. Personally, I think Vinland Saga would be a perfect fit but out of the 4 front runners HxH has the most depth and provides a lot of themes that are not quite as trope-y and pretty out there, compared to MHA, especially. But I guess there are worse picks than MHA, so whatever. I do however recommend to watch MHA dubbed. It has an excellent dub and a lot of the same voice actors as FMAB. It's one of the very few animes that I actually vastly prefer dub over sub. The others are pretty much just Cowboy Bebop and FMAB.

2021-04-10 23:38:10 +0000 UTCseems like AOT pulled in more of the general anime fanbase causing MHAs popularity. as much as i love MHA, i really dont think that show fits this channel. MHA is more a show you watch as a group and get carried along the hype rather than ponder on it alone.

2021-04-10 23:30:34 +0000 UTCNot sure how to feel about MHA being in the lead over the others in the top 4, any of the other 3 would be better for this channel, especially Mob and HxH

2021-04-10 23:20:54 +0000 UTCHaikyuu! is very wholesome and has the range lol! no death no murder no war.. a breath of fresh air in these trying times but I also think it really resonates with people because it really gets you in the feels especially if you played a sport in the past or currently (also the music and pacing in some scenes truly raises your heart rate I swear...). I started it this year and binged it and ended up rewatching it a lot for comfort because I was surprised at how insightful and u[lifting it was and it really explores all the characters- highly recommend the manga to everyone!

2021-04-09 00:57:42 +0000 UTCI know I’ve commented a few times already but for people complaining about the length of some shows - you could feature one longer show and rotate out shorter ones as your other show as you finish them. I’d be pretty bummed if this channel was restricted to shows with 80 or less episodes.

2021-04-08 23:24:12 +0000 UTCI know this is late to the party, but I skimmed the comments and I didn't see anyone else mention it... One of your previous polls had a Steven Universe option. It's one of my favorites, and I think there is a lot of emotional depth to it. I have seen very few reactions available for it... maybe it gets a lot of copyright claims or something. Anyway, I'd adore to see your reactions to SU, but I'll stick around for whatever you decide to do, of course!

2021-04-08 18:38:05 +0000 UTCAfter reading some comments, I just have to step up for my boy Hunter x Hunter. I know I commented on this thread like 5x already so sorry for the spam, but I do believe in what I'm about to say. I see 2 arguments getting brought up the most. 1) It's too long. This is a pretty fair argument, but I wouldn't say it's that long. It's no One Piece. It has 146 episodes if we don't count the recap ones. That's a pretty long anime, but only twice the length of Attack on Titan. Still pretty long though so it would be understandable if you chose a different show. 2) People say it has little to no depth. I disagree. For the most part, it has the same amount of depth as shows like Korra or maybe even ATLA (but I might be reaching since ATLA is legendary) and as the show goes on it gets better and better. Every arc has different topics and ideas to explore. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Hopefully, my comments aren't too intrusive since I've commented like 5x already on this singe comment section xD

2021-04-08 04:26:41 +0000 UTCHmmm... A final five poll feels unnecessary since people can vote multiple times already. Also, since you may end up watching more niche shows, I'll throw a few on here, either for reactions or just to watch on your own time! First, Usagi Drop. An 11-episode series about a 30-something-year-old salaryman named Daikichi who, at his grandpa's funeral, learns that his grandpa has a 6-year-old daughter? (way to go gramps, who knew you wouldn't be shooting duds at that age). While the rest of the family feels ashamed of her existence, Daikichi steps up to the plate to take her in and raise her. What follows is a heartfelt and sweet show about a now single father trying to traverse the new path he set himself on, learning about the things that really matter in this world. Second, is Silver Spoon! Written by the same mangaka of Full Metal Alchemist, this show isn't actiony at all, actually it's a slice of life. The story follows Haachiken, a high schooler and a high achiever in academics, who decides to throw that all away by transferring to an agriculture school in the middle of the country side. He does this mostly to run away from the burden of high expectations (and slightly spurn his demanding father). Believing he would excel here like at his old school, Haachiken is thrown for a loop when he realizes the difficulty of working and making a living in the country side. A great fish-out-of-water story with some romance to boot! Highly entertaining show. Last is Monster. Monster is relatively well known and revered as a classic. The show ponders many questions about life, as well as about human nature and what it is to be a monster. Needless to say, it's pretty dark. The story starts off with Tenma, an up and coming, and extremely talented surgeon. One day, while about to perform an emergency surgery, he is asked instead to switch to a different (more rich) patient. He learns that the one he was going to operate on ended up dying and this affects him deeply. Not long after, he is faced with a similar decision. What would he do this time? And what would the consequences of his choice be? Honestly, I really don't want to give a detailed run down of the plot because I wouldn't want to hamper the experience, but it is REALLY good, and really introspective, which I feel like you would like? Thanks for reading!

2021-04-08 00:47:34 +0000 UTCHxH is way to long for what it offers. Not much depth compared to other short series like Vinland Saga.
2021-04-08 00:45:00 +0000 UTCHear, hear. There are some I think would be BEST, but ultimately almost anything on this list would be enjoyable.

2021-04-07 23:09:09 +0000 UTCI feel as though many people are focussing far too much on things that have to be absolutely mind blowing and life changing. As much as I adore your deep thinking and longer rants about the thought provoking aspects of series like FMAB and AoT, I don't think things that are just fun should be undermined. And even much simpler shows like Hunter x Hunter and My Hero Academia, I think you could do some pretty good character studies with them.
Jo
2021-04-07 22:18:46 +0000 UTCI haven't seen Young Justice, but I've heard about it a few times. I'm curious - if MHA isn't a good fit, is Young Justice really all that different? Is it much deeper? Not rhetorical, genuinely asking.
Xylen
2021-04-07 19:22:07 +0000 UTCMHA isn't AS long, but it's also not short. ~113 episodes (when season 5 is done) and ongoing compared to HxH's 148. And I'd disagree about the "little to no depth" point on HxH, especially as the show goes on - but I'd agree that it's probably a bit too long for it to be one of two ongoing reactions.
Xylen
2021-04-07 19:19:06 +0000 UTCJust a reminder that HXH would be a YEAR of a show with little to no depth, similar with MHA but that’s not nearly as long of a time commitment.

2021-04-07 09:04:41 +0000 UTCA "Final Five" poll, at least as far as I see it, would give people, who have voted only for shows that didn't make it into these Final Five, the chance to take a look at those and decide which of those they would still be willing to give a try. What then could mean a show, that wasn't in first place beforehand, takes the lead - especially at the moment, where the top three shows on the poll are only apart by 10-20 votes.

2021-04-07 06:41:18 +0000 UTCHey guys can you maybe respect the polls result for once (This is about MHA not aot) MHA is a perfectly fine show, although certainly not the best. I watched both it and Hunter x Hunter, and although I like hxh there are some arcs that feel so goddamn long to me. Both are good shows! You already prevented aot from being chosen, why is there a poll at all then? If everyone just complains in the comments about what everyone else chooses. If we’re going after that, I’d recommend Vinland Saga anyway. It’s short, interesting and fun. And Askeladd will be fun to analyze.
Anna Lena Ciplajevs
2021-04-07 05:21:59 +0000 UTCAww no total aot :/ understandable tho, probably would’ve angered too many people :(
Anna Lena Ciplajevs
2021-04-07 05:15:57 +0000 UTCI agree with the top 5 shows vote as well. I think the reason for that is that the choices are too plentyfull + so many voted for AOT. A new vote will restructure and give the preferred result. From the current top 5, I would pick The good place because it's not as long as some of these other shows and it offers amazing discussions. I wouldn't mind Mob psycho 100 particularly as it's fun and doesn't last too long. I do love hxh but I agree that it's very long and will take an insane amount of time. I haven't watched gravity falls yet but heard it's good. As for My hero academia, I really think it's not worth it for now. It's a shonen with characters that are a bit simplistic and it's very far from being done, unlike attack on titan. It's good to also do a show with an ending. HXH kind of has one. The good place has one, same with mob psycho, sort of. I just don't think my hero is the best reaction series right now. This is just my opinion for now.
2021-04-07 05:00:22 +0000 UTCMy feeling as well. They are neck and neck right now though.

2021-04-07 02:03:42 +0000 UTCI like MHA. It is a good anime but i's not really deep and though provoking. HxH on the other hand is complex. Every arc feels different from each other and I like it.

2021-04-07 01:37:22 +0000 UTCI also think a top 5 poll after might help whittle it down further to a specific top choice with no one splitting votes and having less to choose from

2021-04-07 01:02:33 +0000 UTCAww, don't watch My Hero on here. It is a good show. I am current. It is fun. However, it's kinda vapid. Good for vegging out to when you wanna watch a solid, very standard shonen, but there's really not much to read into honestly. I feel like another poll with frontrunners is a good idea, since the vote is surely kinda split here. It's not gonna tip things in Pyscho-Pass's favor for me, but I haven't seen most of these and wouldn't mind watching something new along with you!

2021-04-07 00:57:19 +0000 UTCSadly whenever anime is on the list western cartoons no matter how good always are the first to go under the bus I’ve never found a reaction channel that does well balancing the two they all become anime exclusive eventually and as much as I like anime western animation just has so much more variety to the medium than anime does.
DrowsyCody
2021-04-07 00:54:46 +0000 UTCI like the idea of a second poll to get a more decisive opinion since there were so many options votes got split a lot. Mixed emotions about mha leading so far, while i like the show (literally in the middle of watching the latest mha movie while i'm commenting) it's not a show that offers itself up for particularly enriching analysis (although it's not completely devoid of it) especially in comparison to other shows on the poll
malikparah
2021-04-07 00:32:23 +0000 UTCI'm torn about HxH/MHA leading the poll. I genuinely love both shows, but neither would my top pick for this channel. HxH is great, but just too dang loooong. MHA is fun, but it's long enough too and... not very thought provoking? It's got great characters and excitement, but I wouldn't say it dives into a lot of deep themes. That's not to say there would be nothing to talk about, I just wouldn't put it on the same level as Avatar, FMAB, or some of the other choices here. I don't think it would take advantage of Alex's insight. It would still be a fun ride though, I can't wait to see how this poll plays out.

2021-04-07 00:23:13 +0000 UTCThat honestly sounds like a better idea anyways. Exclusively AOT might kill your drive to watch it, especially since it can get kinda depressing. one thing I will say, is I would heavily not recommend MHA. It is popular for its action and flashy animation, and is not a very thought provoking show at all. I personally would recommend doing HxH, but the choice is yours in the end.

2021-04-07 00:19:22 +0000 UTCIf My Hero Academia wins I will accept that and give the show a chance for once. The community around the show completely turned me off from it. However, I do hope Hunter x Hunter wins. It'll be a different feel from the anime hes currently doing and it's one of my all time favorite anime. Top 5 at least. :)

2021-04-07 00:18:10 +0000 UTCNew shows are great for everyone. Like you said AoT doesn’t stop so no harm done.

2021-04-07 00:17:03 +0000 UTCI voted for AoT, but I absolutely respect the decision to cross that one out. A lot of people were clearly very unhappy about it, so it makes sense to stick with the status quo. I also like the idea of you choosing shows yourself sometimes, which will be more freeing than having every selection be beholden to hype/broad popularity.
Xylen
2021-04-07 00:11:51 +0000 UTCA final 5 poll would be good, it may not reveal anything new, but I think it gives people a chance to push for something that maybe isn't their top top choice but that they still want to see.

2021-04-07 00:08:53 +0000 UTCI think it is good to have variety. While it is always good to watch shows you know you will like sometimes it is great to watch something out of your comfort zone. Otherwise we may just end up watching the same or similar stuff over and over, which is what many dislike about Hollywood movies currently. If I didn't try different things I would have never gotten into shows like Bojack Horseman and Assassination Classroom or movies like Shawshank Redemption. I also wouldn't have learned to cook.

2021-04-07 00:05:50 +0000 UTCI'm all all for a final five. Once you narrow down the top contenders, giving fans of those shows a chance to double down on their favorites and allowing people whose votes got buried lower on the list to still contribute something seems like all plusses to me.

2021-04-06 23:29:13 +0000 UTCI'm beginning to feel like Vinland Saga is gonna end up a semi-obscure cult classic here in the west rather than taking off like I think it deserves, considering how it's going now even before the second season. Bit of a shame for sure, but I'm just hoping it does well enough to get more seasons.
2021-04-06 21:50:18 +0000 UTCI think code geass would be a good show for him to analyze
2021-04-06 19:59:07 +0000 UTCThe best part about Goodwin is the insightful overview he provides during his reactions and I don’t rly feel like MHA is a good show for that so I’m pretty annoyed that it’s above HxH. I’m also disappointed to see Vinland Saga so low on votes.

2021-04-06 17:30:27 +0000 UTCHard disagree on the Re:Zero point. Season 2 imo was an improvement in almost every way over season 1 I agree with most of what you said though
Nick
2021-04-06 16:39:22 +0000 UTCI feel like shows that he should watch should be shows that get better and better as the series goes forward. And IMO, some of these examples are getting worse and worse as time goes on. Shows like My Hero, One Punch Man, Re:Zero, The Promised Neverland, are shows that stay stagnant and don't get much better, or in some cases, get a lot worse down the road. Shows that get even better as the series progresses would be a lot more rewarding to watch. Shows like Mob Psycho, AOT, and maybe even HxH.
2021-04-06 15:56:12 +0000 UTCYou clearly haven't gotten far into MHA if your assessment is so...well, frankly childish.

2021-04-06 12:31:52 +0000 UTCLotsa oh-pinions here.... But it looks like we're gonna be AoT exclusive now, which I'm down for. LONG TERM THINKING INCOMING: Maybe after catching up on AoT, you could go back to doing 2 shows at once. At that point you'll be able to pick one that tops the polls and one that you decide for yourself based on what seems interesting to you. Then we'll be guaranteed to have one show that's a mindless crowd-pleaser (MHA etc.) and one with a rich story ripe for analysis! Then everyone will be happy?! We'll all get along?!? The comments will settle down?!?!? World peace?!?!?!?

2021-04-06 07:07:52 +0000 UTCIMO, since you've watched ATLA, I've wanted you to watch Mob Psycho 100. I feel like there is so much emotional complexities that you can sink your teeth into. It's a lot of fun to watch and it has amazing emotional growth for the main characters. I would just love to see your input on it and see how it compares to my own. ^-^

2021-04-06 05:53:17 +0000 UTCReally odd to see Re:Zerro so low, it's a very emotional and analytical show at times, many reactors have a hard time theorizing and understanding its more complex angles. Would be great for this channel

2021-04-06 02:04:01 +0000 UTCThat's just a little silly imo. There are 24 other options there, you're saying NONE of them would be good? I think Vinland Saga, Psycho Pass, maybe MP100 and Death Parade in particular are basically the perfect kind of shows for his sort of analysis and discussion. 2021-04-06 01:42:23 +0000 UTCI wouldn't mind you doing Attack on Titan exclusively for a bit. There's a lot of material right now and it might be best to blast through them to avoid spoilers. Oddly enough, The Good Place is one of those shows that I can't believe I didn't think of to recommend. I know you would absolutely love it and it might offer a nice change of pace (especially because the last two shows you've reacted to have had very dark undertones/overtones).

2021-04-06 01:08:50 +0000 UTCMy hero academia is really childish imo and wouldn't fit this channel's mature POV on shows... I reckon animes with strong moral dilemmas would fit well, e.g. vinland saga, hxh etc...

2021-04-05 21:16:19 +0000 UTCHard agree on MHA. There's nothing wrong with it but it is incredibly overrated and there's not a ton to analyze or all that many thought provoking themes. Personally I'm rooting for HxH but I actually think Vinland Saga would be the best fit for this channel out of this line-up. I think Askeladd is the most complex character I have ever seen in any anime tbh.
Sal Inger
2021-04-05 20:43:30 +0000 UTCYeah, that's how this sort of multiple-choice voting system works. It may not be as intuitive, but I think it's better than the alternative. If it was just a single-choice vote, the winner would just be the one of these 25 that the most people had as their #1 choice -- in other words, the votes are split into 25 groups, and just the largest one of those groups wins (even though the combined other 24 piles probably make up the majority of votes). This way, at least, you're picking something that the most people expressed interest in overall.
Xylen
2021-04-05 19:42:28 +0000 UTCJust remember that AOT exclusively would only last about a month and a half to two months give or take. So it wouldn't be many months of AOT or anything like that This would also open the possibility for us to watch two new series afterwards

2021-04-05 19:35:19 +0000 UTCI'd be fine with AoT only for now since a lot of people seem to want that, but after you catch up I'd love to see Hunter x Hunter here (though it's not nearly as "deep" or complex when it comes to character development and main plot, it's a really fun and well written shonen).
Mark
2021-04-05 19:32:25 +0000 UTCWhat’s wrong with this form of voting and how do Americans have the most unrepresentative form of voting?
jhāna
2021-04-05 19:32:17 +0000 UTCYou can vote for multiple options. So if you don't want AoT, then don't vote for it, and instead pick everything that you would like to see.
Xylen
2021-04-05 19:25:41 +0000 UTCI mean, it's very likely that he'll react to Season 4 Part 2 when that comes out next winter. But otherwise I agree with the principle of getting through AoT and introducing more variety after lol
Xylen
2021-04-05 19:24:37 +0000 UTCTo everyone complaining about AoT winning because of the voting system (especially Americans who are used to what is literally the worst most, unrepresentative form of voting): I know it probably seems unfair because you aren't used to this type of voting and the thing you don't like is winning, but non-ranked multiple choice voting is MORE FAIR than one person, one vote with a simple plurality to determine the winner. Edit: and just to be clear, I didn't vote for AoT at all lol, I'm just a politics nerd
2021-04-05 19:23:35 +0000 UTCI haven't actually added them all up myself, but the "total" votes seems to include every option that anybody picked - so, for example, if you voted for 5 things, that adds 5 votes to the total. Which means that it's not like ~2000 people voted and only ~200 of those were for AoT, it's just that of all the people who voted for anything, AoT was the most common show that people picked (in addition to whatever else they liked). I wonder if Alex has better statistics for how many unique people voted.
Xylen
2021-04-05 19:22:51 +0000 UTCThat could be a good idea. Broad, multiple-choice vote first to gauge general interest, then specific single-choice vote to pick a favourite?
Xylen
2021-04-05 19:18:26 +0000 UTCI think that one thing to consider is that when you catch up to Attack on Titan, depending on if you do exclusively AOT or keep at your current pace you will have either a few months or half a year to wait for the next season to start (assuming you want to react in real time). So you might want to consider the length of the options that you're considering in that light, if you want to swap out a show or swap out one night of reactions for a show once S4P2 starts. My personal vote was for Erased but it looks like that's not happening right away so I would LOVE a Gravity Falls reaction

2021-04-05 19:10:00 +0000 UTCFor the record, if he did AoT exclusively it would still take 7/8 weeks from now to finish, as opposed to 14. Either way, there's still going to be months before S4P2. I haven't done the math for all of the other options, but I think there's more of a chance that he can start and finish other show(s) before S4P2 if he gets caught up on AoT quicker. I've made a few similar comments already -- I'm not trying to drown out dissenting opinions or argue with people who would prefer something else, I'm just trying to explain why I don't think it would be a big deal if he just focused on AoT for a bit.
Xylen
2021-04-05 19:00:30 +0000 UTCMyHero will take him a year too. TV shows are long, this is how react channels work lmao. I'd prefer he pick non-action shonen as well but even than good romance shows like Fruits Basket will still take him plenty of months to complete.

2021-04-05 16:26:21 +0000 UTCAnother thing to note: It would be pretty cool to have a show you're watching with the patrons that isn't completed yet. That way when a new season airs it would be a weekly event with the chat to watch the newly aired episode.

2021-04-05 15:06:42 +0000 UTCWatching AoT alongside Gravity Falls is gonna be simply perf: one day of complete depresso, one day of ultimate cheerfulness. Hey you all, vote for GF please, Aang taught us how important balance is after all!

2021-04-05 14:58:48 +0000 UTCI would be slightly disappointed to learn I started subbing for a month of exclusively AOT, I'll admit lol. I'll still watch it and enjoy it anyway, don't get me wrong! The series is great and so are your insights on it! But I do think it's a good idea to have a variety as others have stated. Maybe, once the ATLA rewatch is finished, double time AOT til you're caught up as well as picking up 1 other show? That way everone is happy. <3
eli_lane
2021-04-05 14:41:50 +0000 UTCBut there's also people who voted an option as their favorite but voted AoT as a backup. I think that if there was only one vote allowed the vote would be much closer.

2021-04-05 14:19:18 +0000 UTCI get the feeling a lot of people don't realize they can vote for multiple series (despite the post specifically saying they can)... Assuming every single patron voted, there's an average of less than 2 votes per person so far. Even assuming every AoT-exclusive person voted only 1 time, the rest of the patrons still average less than 2. Vote like mad, everyone! Vote!!

2021-04-05 14:08:35 +0000 UTCfingers crossed for gravity falls, though it is looking bleak. i’d really be happy with anything so long as i didn’t just end up subbing for a whole month of just aot lmao

2021-04-05 12:04:42 +0000 UTCThere's a lot of people already chiming in on the Attack on Titan exclusively conundrum. Attack on Titan is my favourite show and Manga. However, I would not want you to do this exclusively. While I'd love to see you react to the later parts of this story you are going to get there eventually. 3 episodes a week is more than enough. If you did Attack on Titan exclusively it would be over in two-three weeks. I prefer you dragging it out especially with S4 P2 being around the corner. It would be nice for you too if you didn't have to wait that long for S4 P2.
Zac Rushton
2021-04-05 11:56:41 +0000 UTCYou could also do a finalist poll with the 5 shows that win this one and then you'll have a better understanding of what people want once you've sorted a wheat from the chaff as it were. :)
Spizami
2021-04-05 11:52:26 +0000 UTCWell, Hunter x Hunter and My Hero Academia are fighting for 2nd place, which means that it would be a very controversial move to choose one over the other which also means that it's pretty epic that attack on titan is winning, because after it gets finished, we might get both Hunter x Hunter AND My Hero Academia. So I'll probably vote for attack on titan as well.
Chris Virtue
2021-04-05 11:32:02 +0000 UTCTo be fair, people could just vote everything except attack on titan to express their "no". Of course, nobody will do that, but still, the poll is about what people want to see most. If attack on titan wins, that's fair in my book. More people would be unhappy if a show they didn't like won. I'm personally pretty glad he has that option, because you see many reactors who are watching like 10 shows at a time and you have to wait a week to just see one episode.
Chris Virtue
2021-04-05 11:20:09 +0000 UTCI think it’s aa great idea to focus on AoT for now and it will be finished in aa few weeks! And then you have time to watch other shows! I love the AoT content!! Keep it up

Stefan
2021-04-05 09:29:48 +0000 UTCI really think that you should not watch AoT exclusively because it would help your channel to grow faster and reach more people that are maybe not as interested in this particular show, but "I love Democracy" so nothing you can do about it

2021-04-05 08:40:24 +0000 UTCAw this sucks. I thought it was multiple choice for some reason and picked one that whilst I would love you to react to was not my first choice. I agree with people saying don't focus on AOT exclusively. As much as I'm a manga reader and I would love for you to see some of the later stuff, having variety is a good thing even if it's not a show that I've watched before, I feel like getting two different shows perspectives is good. Especially when AOT is very.... bleak as it were. Something with a more compassionate protagonist would be good like Demon Slayer or My Hero. Or something with an intelligent protag like Dr. Stone or Steins;Gate. I've never seen Hunter x Hunter but it's on my watch list so if you watch that I will definitely join you as well. BasicallyI vote for more varied content Goodwin! But I'll stick around whatever you decide :)

2021-04-05 07:26:19 +0000 UTCJust a thought but maybe you could do a separate poll on if people want full on AoT or just another series in general, because people seem to disagree a lot on this. For example I do not really care what series we watch next but I do not want full on AoT and I think a lot of people feel the same. But I cant quite express this in the votes, because I also want to show which show I support most :)

2021-04-05 04:52:26 +0000 UTCHmm, I wonder if it would be good to have a second poll with the top 5 vote getters or something. I know you can vote for more than one option but maybe that way the one that's chosen will feel more like of a majority of people are voting for it? Just a suggestion though, and the timeline on this particular vote may not work out for a second round of voting, but maybe it's something to consider for the next poll. Personally I would rather he start a new show than only do AoT full time, but I can see the appeal of either option if he's going to finish the current slate of episodes before S4 part 2 comes out either way.
jdthebud
2021-04-05 04:39:06 +0000 UTCAOT exclusively is a good idea in the short term but isn't in the long run. There would be a longer wait until S4 part 2 starts airing and you might lose viewers. + another show will keep more variety. I personally would prefer a non shonen anime (Shonen anime are very action focussed and I believe that your commentary will hold more weight for other shows, since there will not be a lot to comment about in shonen shows).
Paul
2021-04-05 04:28:48 +0000 UTCIt's only 148 episodes, though... And only two of them are filler...

2021-04-05 03:33:19 +0000 UTCI know other people have mentioned it, but just thought I'd share my input too. I think doing exclusively AoT would be fine for a lot of people, but I think it'd probably make a lot sense to do a 2nd show just to give some variety to the heaviness of AoT for both the viewers and Alex. I just don't want anyone to feel burnt out on a single show if that were the case.

2021-04-05 02:57:34 +0000 UTCSeriously, its not doing too bad but its getting beat by a lot of mainstream action shows which kinda sucks cause Goodwin would have a way better time analyzing something like Fruits Basket than My Hero.

2021-04-05 02:56:40 +0000 UTCIt kinda makes me mad aot exclusively is winning lol I mean I love this show but I don’t feel like it’s actually winning because it’s the first choice of the majority of the people but winning because it’s like everyone’s second third or even fourth choice but because the poll is “select all options” they included it along with their first choice😆 oh well aot exclusively will still be fun
Soren Monroe
2021-04-05 02:55:18 +0000 UTCngl. Even though I love both aot and fma, I think I prefered the focusing on only one show at a time, since I have no patience and I like getting episodes essentially twice as fast hehe. 2021-04-05 01:57:08 +0000 UTCIf AOT double wins, he should watch another shows when he is done with AOT and when we get an idea of when exactly Part 2 of AOT comes out, he can start the AOT rewatch so it ends when AOT Part 2 begins. Just a thought.

2021-04-05 01:55:24 +0000 UTCWell my logic is we are getting to the peak of aot and there is a lot to talk about on s3 and s4. Also if we do exclusive aot we will finish the show in 1.5 months and we can choose 2 new shows after.
Mert
2021-04-05 01:55:12 +0000 UTCI'm okay with AoT winning even though I don't like the show, cuz it's going to be watched either way; only difference is fast or slow. On the other hand, I've seen My Hero Academia twice and don't think it's a good fit for this channel since it doesn't have all that much substance to it. Particularly compared to shows like Fruits Basket or even Assassination Classroom.
Blique
2021-04-05 01:53:40 +0000 UTCAs someone with tattoos from HxH and Demon Slayer, either of those would be incredible for you to experience, imo (HxH being more up your alley). Jujutsu Kaisen had one of the best rated opening seasons ever for anime so that's also a great choice. I just hope it's not MHA :) I don't believe it has enough substance to be a good fit for this type of channel. Another good thing about HxH is that it's not your typical shounen. It has extremely dark elements and one of the greatest antagonists of all time, not just in anime (in my opinion).

2021-04-05 01:10:28 +0000 UTCAOT exclusivity is obviously a popular option, so it makes sense why people who disagree would feel the need to express that. However, as someone who voted for that option (among others), I might as well give my view. With the number of available episodes remaining, there's going to be a significant waiting period before Season 4 Part 2 regardless of whether Alex does 3 episodes a week or 6. I'd prefer to have him focus on AOT for a little bit and get through all that exciting stuff in the near future, and then move on to a variety of other shows afterward (before S4P2, of course). With that said, there are plenty of good options in this list. I'm excited to see what the results are.
Xylen
2021-04-05 01:06:55 +0000 UTCI think hunter x hunter would be right up your alley, it’s kinda like ATLA in how it at first presents itself as a happy go lucky anime but when it goes further it delves into the human condition, the cruelty of humanity, the emptiness of revenge and just so much that you can really dig deep into
Ragan Michelle
2021-04-05 01:06:24 +0000 UTCThat's true, but focusing on AOT also means that we can potentially start 2 series afterwards at the same time like we did for TDP and FMA. Plus, AOT is bulky at 76 episodes.

Nick
2021-04-05 00:58:20 +0000 UTCIf you focus strictly on AoT tok would have less variety on the channel and the last season doesnt start airing again until December of this year. So, you would have to wait for MONTHS before you finish the series. Whereas, if you continue like you are now maybe you'll only have to wait a few weeks.
Dempsy
2021-04-05 00:58:09 +0000 UTCEven if he did it without it being exclusive, he would finish the series long before part 2 drops. That pain would still exist lol

2021-04-05 00:55:15 +0000 UTC2 polls in a row where alex makes me sad cuz my recommendations were ghosted... whatever you choose, it better make you cry </3

2021-04-05 00:54:52 +0000 UTCI love AOT but taking into consideration that season 4 part 2 is going to be airing next year, i don't think that doubling the upload speed will be that great, also in theory, season 4 part 2 will be the end of the show

2021-04-05 00:53:25 +0000 UTCSo FMAB will end this week on Patreon, then I will probably watch the bloopers, then do a Q&A (I'll post the question form sometime in the next few days). I am also planning on taking 1 day off after that on the day I usually post FMAB, and then starting the new show (or full swing AOT based on how the poll looks right now lol) the following scheduled day. TLDR: On Melon Lord & Goodwin Fruit Squad it will start Wednesday 4/14 On Cabbage Corp and YouTube it will start Thursday 4/22 I think.

2021-04-05 00:53:00 +0000 UTCFollow up: I’m super surprised at the amount of AOT only votes

2021-04-05 00:49:42 +0000 UTCAlso I think Re:Zero, OPM, Gravity Falls would be a great thought-process series. And we love it from you!

2021-04-05 00:49:20 +0000 UTCGood chance, yeah

2021-04-05 00:49:09 +0000 UTCBe warned if you watch AoT exclusively, you will be done before the Season 4 Part 2 airs.

2021-04-05 00:49:02 +0000 UTCI'm not sure I totally understand the need for exclusive AOT. There's already like 2-3 episodes a week, which is already faster than they were released and faster than other most other reaction channels do shows. Now if it's all about giving you a little break Alex, I'm all for that. Otherwise can't say I understand (someone do enlighten me lol).

2021-04-05 00:48:54 +0000 UTCTo be honest, as much as I love AoT, I think doing it exclusively might end up being a bit too much all at once, yknow? Plus I feel like if it's done alongside another show, you'll have less time to wait between when you catch up and when the final season part 2 starts lol
Jo
2021-04-05 00:48:50 +0000 UTCWhen would the reactions for the new show start? right after FMA finishes?

2021-04-05 00:48:36 +0000 UTCToo the moon! Lol
Itachi The Rouge
2021-04-05 00:48:19 +0000 UTCOne reason I didn't include that on this poll is because that is something I plan to do eventually no matter what :)

2021-04-05 00:48:15 +0000 UTCAwhh I was really hoping the Fate series would be on here, Or even the option for a video game! lol. Do you plan on getting a capture device to start doing gaming vids in the future? Not that it matters either way, do what you want with your channel. For sure my vote is 1,000% Demon slayer. My hero. And gravity falls. At least out of this poll. Either way I can’t wait for a new show to watch with you!!
Itachi The Rouge
2021-04-05 00:48:07 +0000 UTCIf aot wins, will you do the top voted series after you finish with that?

2021-04-05 00:47:53 +0000 UTCI’d love to see an exclusive AOT watch, but I also voted for Fruit’s Basket since I saw somewhere that you said you’ve been wanting to watch romance lately :). It’s a really good one, and you’d love analyzing the characters! It’s a very deep, complex show.

2021-04-05 00:47:37 +0000 UTCVery excited to watch your reactions to many of these shows, but AOT deserves exclusivity IMO.

2021-04-05 00:45:49 +0000 UTCCome on yall the good place needs more love!!

2021-04-05 00:45:35 +0000 UTCI'd be happy with that choice. It would be one time my terrible memory actually comes in handy. And I remember thoroughly loving it
Alex G
2021-04-05 00:45:27 +0000 UTCOoh hunter x hunter! It's an amazing show that touches on some very interesting topics in morality and the human condition, you'll absolutely love it and i hope it does well

2021-04-05 00:45:07 +0000 UTCStill would vote for you to finish Bojack if you haven’t yet! (Since it was in one of your polls awhile ago)
Lily
2021-04-05 00:44:52 +0000 UTCIf chosen, I will watch ONLY Attack on Titan until I've finished the available episodes.
Alex G
2021-04-05 00:44:43 +0000 UTCI know you said it’s a rewatch, but if you basically don’t remember anything about Code Geass that would be a good series to do, as long as AoT doesn’t win >.<

2021-04-05 00:44:08 +0000 UTCI am a little confused. What is Attack on Titan doing in the pool..?
