Rain is my favorite opening and I'm kinda surprised to see so many others say the same thing.

2021-03-15 05:10:29 +0000 UTCEvery time Olivier Armstrong talks and makes moves, I'm reminded of the big fat girl crush i have on her.

2021-03-07 16:51:59 +0000 UTCSo here's something I thought about, and it's really small, and doesn't matter. There's the halfway title card with those zombie immortal legion, and one's covering it's eye, then mouth, then ears. Just made me immediately think "see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil."

2021-03-07 04:39:38 +0000 UTCThe only problem with this show is the urge after each episode to say "I can't wait to see you watch the next one."

2021-03-06 20:54:29 +0000 UTCPlus, as unsettling as it is, we have repeatedly seen souls in FMAB ask to be killed. Like Envy said, they're so far removed from being alive that they would probably just want to rest. Using a philosophers stone to defeat the person responsible for what happened is both justice and helping put those souls to rest, by depleting the stones

2021-03-06 18:42:22 +0000 UTCWould absolutely love a rewatch sometime in the future, the more I watch reactions or rewatch this show like I did with my mom a while back, the more I fall in love with it. I've been going through a very rough transitional phase and there are so many directions I have to look rn it's hard to focus on much. Thx again for doing these man.

2021-03-06 08:29:05 +0000 UTCI think the Ishvalins trapped in that particular stone would absolutely love to get back at kimblee. Not to mention one of the orchestraters of the whole extermination.

2021-03-06 07:46:23 +0000 UTCRain is my favorite opening in the series, and one of my favoeite all time openings

2021-03-06 07:31:35 +0000 UTCThis OP is one of my favorite!

2021-03-06 07:29:20 +0000 UTCSo this IS the final one. Sad That's an interesting note about the different reactions to the openings. So far in this show all the openings grow on me gradually over time, until I'm sad when there's a new one.

2021-03-06 06:49:59 +0000 UTCYou're getting to some of my favorite episodes in the entire series. Really, all of the episodes to the end are great. The Armstrongs vs Sloth is one of my favorite fights and the way it starts out pretty much encapsulates how crazy that fight gets.

2021-03-06 05:44:36 +0000 UTCTwo younger brothers rising up! Not to mention this op and ed marking the endgame for FMA... we're finally here! Op5 is my personal favorite, with its emotional, almost-melancholy, yet underlying hopeful tones. Interesting enough, as far as I've seen op5 seems to be the most popular one in eastern FMA fandoms (Korea and Japan), while op1 with its thematic set-ups and general epicness seems to be more popular among western FMA fans. Cultural difference, perhaps?

2021-03-06 05:38:07 +0000 UTCOh yeah, looks like the audio got cut somehow. I commented on Al's appearance, probably something like "ultimate Alphonse" or something like that.

2021-03-06 04:44:47 +0000 UTC"Good! There you are. Very well done Alphonse Elric!" I never not get chills from that line

2021-03-06 03:35:46 +0000 UTCI love how the opening song is titled "Rain" and the ending song is "Ray of Light". Such a clever pair of titles

2021-03-06 03:07:26 +0000 UTCThe ending with Al's glowing red eyes always gives me chills! Also, this outro is by far my fav of all the FMAB outros. I always thought the reason for Olivier's contempt toward Alex was not due to his desertion during the Ishvalan War. Olivier is disappointed in Alex because he had ran away when he should have made his stand and protested against the military's cruelty. "your bloated muscles are worthless without a spine!"

2021-03-06 03:00:00 +0000 UTCI dont like many anime OPs or EDs but I do really love this pair. This is such a crazy finale, so many people fighting on as many different fronts. All the character building over the series is really starting to pay off, there isn't ba dull character among them.

2021-03-06 02:30:39 +0000 UTCMan. I can't believe how far we've come. It feels like just yesterday that I was watching Alex react to SECRET TUNNEL. Good times.

2021-03-06 02:23:31 +0000 UTCI'll update after watching but quick note: The immortal soldier that said "big brother" is probably Nina's soul used for that soldier? I'm not sure. I think that's what it's implying Which really sucks! And now I wish I had never noticed that detail. Even after all this time, it still haunts Ed.
