Sakura Empire WIP

Okay… sorry guys, I lied… I said I will get back to Jean Bart drawing, but I end up wanting to finish the “crazy idea” I had first, and end up just working on this for the past few days… this makes me a little behind on my current schedule, I hope you guys forgive me >A<
Anyway, so this is the idea I talked about xD showed mum and my friend they think the drawing is too overwhelming, but I think if it’s a onsen scene with a lot of girls, it make sense for it to be quite packed? Either way, I end up just drawing this after planning it for a whole day XD
This drawing was a huge challenge. Not only I never draw so many characters in a scene before, but also need to give enough spacing for them to make sure they are not too clustered into each other… the poses were really difficult to draw as well, took me quite some time to make sure everyone’s anatomy look okay…
Worst of all though was scaling… it is always really difficult to draw multiple characters in the same scene with correct scaling, have to use a 3d game to test out the scaling of each character before finalizing them in the drawing…
Thanks to Frank Leo, now I plan to actually make this into a proper drawing. But I will put this on hold for a month or 2 for now, since this drawing is quite overwhelming to do right after sketching it XD atm aiming to make this drawing around 4k resolution 030 hope it won’t be too much work…

It's truly beautiful. This looks like it's gonna take some time to finish but it's gonna be totally worth it.

All these girls, damn, everywhere I look there's more goodness to be had. Of course I'm a fan of the group of four girls in the back as well as the slightly underwater girl on the bottom-right. You know girls like that are my favourite, haha. This is really quite impressive and you seem pretty dedicated to it, can't wait to see it finished!
