Finale Delay

So I've finished Korra. Loved it! (obviously)
But, as I should have seen coming but for some reason didn't, I had a lot to say about the finale, and as a result it has taken me much longer than usual to work on the videos.
Because of this, and also to give myself some time to catch up on a few other things, I've decided to push everything back by one day on both Patreon and YouTube.
That means that season 4 episode 13 will be out tomorrow on Patreon, and the day after on YouTube.

It was mostly because I was overwhelmed by the feeling that the show was over, and partly because I've been fairly certain it would go that way for quite some time. I will make a point to talk more about it when I do the follow up discussion video next week, but I liked the final scene with them and I think if Korra needed to end up with someone, Asami was a great choice. It didn't feel forced to me, aside from just the general "they need to end up with someone" issue that Bryan discussed. I like the Miyazaki quote in the article, and I think they pulled off the "inspiring each other to be better" quality very well, not only with Korra and Asami but also non-romantically with Korra and Mako, as he points out.

I seriously looked forward to seeing the video today and now I will be so so so so sad and miserable. I hope as the years go by, you look back on this moment as the day you broke my heart and stepped on it and then sautéed it in a nonstick pan with butter, salt, and assorted peppers and then fed it to your dog. Generations of my family will tell the tale of the everlasting feud between the Gaona and Goodwin families Our descendants will war against each other on this Earth and on every planet that the human race ever comes to inhabit across time. Know this, and despair. Lol in all seriousness, the extra day won't hurt. I hope you are always this attentive to giving yourself the time to do things right without rushing yourself or putting on too much pressure. I'll be waiting eagerly!
