Story 9 Animation Complete! (Sep 2025 Update)

Hi Patrons! We just crossed a big milestone for Story #9 - the rough animation for the entire episode is complete!

We knocked out a hefty 30 scenes over the past month, and we only have a handful of scenes to ink & cleanup. All of the work I've been working on since June has been spoilery, so I won't go into big detail, but rest assured that it contains some of my best animation work. It really felt like some "level-ups" we're achieved.

I still have to go back and fill in some gaps in the animation, but it's still a big deal to see the shot-list 99% green. Rebonkulous, Voroxzii, and Rainby have been working at light-speed to get dozens of scenes fully cleaned, inked, and shaded!

We'll soon be working on backgrounds & compositing, which will really give us a finished look.

Commissions

As mentioned in the previous update, I've been taking on extra commission work - if you're interested in a custom illustration from me, please check out the page. I will be closing them in about 2 weeks to focus on finishing Story #9.

Rebekah, my wife, has also opened up her commissions, which you should check out! She specializes in animated icons and profile pictures.
