Commissions and Animation Work (Sep 2023 Update #2)

Hi Patrons!

Here is an update on my work for the past couple weeks.

Story 8 Update

Character animation on Chapter 6 has begun and we have a handful of scenes already roughed out (awaiting cleanup & inking). Layouts for the first two dozen scenes are done, but there is still ~75% of the chapter left to layout and do more animatics for. There are also a few key pieces of concept art left to do.

The chapter requires a great deal of planning and concepting before we can go "full steam ahead" on it. Getting that planning done will be like setting the railroad tracks in place for the productivity train to take off, so that will be my major goal for October.

Commissions Update

Something that I made more progress on was the commission list. We have over 75 finished pieces, a drawing feat I'm glad to have accomplished. We still have a few new commissions left to do, but I will be taking care to pace myself going forward. I absolutely want to prioritize the animation work that you Patrons are funding, as it is my pleasure and duty to deliver.

That being said, the commissions will act as a bit of supplementary income (which will be nice for my upcoming married life), and they will allow me to stream and connect with you guys without spoiling Story 8 animation.
