Recently we announced some changes to our Patreon pricing, and over the past month we’ve been gathering feedback from our supporters and fans. Looking to the future based on the responses to our survey, we’re making a few changes to the structure of our Patreon and our upcoming release schedule, ones that we hope you all will like!
Starting this month, we will offer votes to patrons on upcoming new characters which will release exclusively to our VIP island. These new characters will receive 3 dates, with date 1 released first, and dates 2 and 3 released together in a following month. All Patreon supporters will retain access to VIP island and receive all the new content developed, though backers at higher tiers will get access to new content sooner. All coin rewards associated with the current backer tiers will remain unchanged for those still unlocking the existing game content.
For the next few months, we will alternate new characters with the remaining content we had developed to update existing characters in the non-VIP area. You can expect the first new VIP island character to launch in August or September!
The new tier rewards system will be as follows:
BRONZE: No voting privileges. Access to VIP island. New characters will appear two months after they are available to Gold backers.
SILVER: Vote on upcoming characters. Access to VIP island. New characters appear one month after they are available to Gold backers.
GOLD: All the prior benefits, plus vote on upcoming characters and their bonus dates. Immediate access to new characters.
PLATINUM: All the prior benefits, plus early playtest access to new content. Unlock all existing characters in the game via behind-the-scenes developer access for as long as Platinum pledge is maintained.
