🗞️✨ Dev Update Week 3 – New Systems Incoming!

Hey everyone! I hope you’ve all been doing well 😊
This week, I’ve made progress on some exciting new features for the VN that I’m really happy to share with you. Let’s jump right in!

🧾 Conversation Log System

I’ve been working on a history log system, designed to look like a phone conversation!

While playing, you can access past dialogue through a phone icon button on the interface 📲.

It’s styled like a messaging app, making it feel like you're scrolling through an actual chat. It’s a small touch, but I think it helps to make the experience feel more personal and immersive 💬.

👤 Character Profiles

Another big addition is the Character Profile!

As you meet new main or side characters during the story, they’ll be added to your in-game contacts. Each contact lets you view fun details like their likes, hobbies, favorite quotes, or shared memories.

This system helps you keep track of who’s who and adds a layer of emotional connection as you learn more about each person in your story. This system will be persistent through your playthroughs so you can remember past interactions with characters in new routes!

Each character’s profile will also include a personalized image gallery, displaying all the scenes they appear. If an image contains multiple characters, it’ll appear in each relevant profile, acting like a filter system so you can browse scenes based on who's in them. Super handy for collectors or fans of specific characters!


The gallery system is still in development — I’m currently working on image positioning and layout — but the basic framework is in place.
Even if I don’t finish it this week, I’ll make sure your unlocked images stay saved when future updates roll out! 💾✨

🛠️ Workload & Support

Even with some help, the programming side is still a heavy load 😅

I'm actively looking for more help — especially volunteers or collaborators for the initial coding work, which is the most demanding.

Regarding writing, some folks kindly offered to assist early on, but I haven’t heard back from them, so the minigame script is still delayed. I’ll be trying again to get support in that area this week, so I can stay focused on getting the core systems ready for the next preview release.
