Phew!

Sorry for the somewhat longer wait for this one - I hope it is quickly evident why that was the case. This one took a very long time to make - I don't often draw scenes this this many characters in full view at the same time. It's a lot of work and I don't want to go too, too long without posting anything.

At the same time, it was really fun to do. I am not sure if this is the sort of thing that will resonate with you as viewers, as it's not the most explicit thing and I understand that's often what people want most. But artistically this was one of the most enjoyable things I have made, and I'm really pleased with the result.

I suppose if I'm trying to say anything there, it's that I enjoy breaking out of the "image set" and "three comic pages" formula I've got going. I hope you enjoy this image too - if the response is positive, I might do more pieces like this that take a bit longer but have (in my view as an artist) a bit more of pay off.

Perhaps someday I could even do an explicit many-character scene! I think the last one I did was for Junior Champions all that time ago...
