Not much a typical classic but more so a notable album worth taking a look at

We really are watering-down the word "classic"

I’d say faces falls more into the cult classic category, but I agree with the other commenters that I think there could be an age impact as well. I think if you are late 20s, early 30s you’d probably be more inclined to consider it a classic. I personally think swimming is his classic work, one where we will see its influence on other artists in the coming years

I definitely think this is an area where age does factor into what would be considered classic. Mac has a few classics and he's revered in the Midwest and truly loved by his and artists across the genre. There's a reason everyone loved him and appreciated his musicality. His death has continued to impacted and be felt across the spectrum. His influence is felt in the way the music of his peers shifted from Schoolboy to Kendrick to Vince to Tyler, his peers shifted their art because of his death and they have all spoken about how it affected the music they made after. As someone who became a fan of his in HS 2011 my senior year, this album was highly acclaimed at the time of release. This is definitely a classic as is his final album. Definitely can't agree on this one.

Whoever nominated this, this is what you wanted. I knew this was the direction they were gonna go. 😐
