News Brief: Unions, Gaza, and Labor's Checkered Relationship With US Militarism

Comments

reminds me of how Starbucks Workers United almost immediately put out a tweet in solidarity with Palestinians after 10/7 (that higher ups at SEIU swiftly made them take down). the workers got the microphone and the union cut the power. many such cases

c

One of the stories mentioned on this episode reminded me of how Australian unionised dock workers refused to load weapons onto Dutch ships to block their attempts to re-colonise Indonesia after WW2.
