Labubu (Premium E298)

Jake has returned from deep within the Labubu rabbit hole, and he’s brought enough furry little monsters back with him to replace Travis and Julian.   O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!  This is a Labubu podcast now, I’m sorry to say.  The real question on everyone’s mind is how many Labubus I got (a lot).

Thanks for subscribing to QAA on patreon.

Editing by Corey Klotz. Theme by Nick Sena. Additional music by Pontus Berghe, and Jake Rockatansky. Theme Vocals by THEY/LIVE (https://instagram.com/theyylivve / https://sptfy.com/QrDm). Cover Art by Pedro Correa: (https://pedrocorrea.com)

A month ago, I listened to this episode and thought it was completely asinine but hilarious. However, even though I'd never noticed them before, I started seeing them around. They made me chuckle at first, but then I started to think, it would be kind of funny to have one, almost like an obscure piece of QAA merch. I resisted as long as I could until yesterday, when I bought a shitty knockoff at the state fair with my kid. I opened the box and was delighted to discover I had gotten the 'secret' Labubu. I'm here to report that these things are, in fact, most likely demonic. I can't imagine how else this ridiculous episode wormed its way into my brain to the point where I actually brought one of the gd things home and then had feelings about which one was in the box.

Fell asleep next to the tablet after listening to the episode. My wife: ?? Me: “Ah, was listening to an exceptionally melted QAA about Labubus.” My wife: “The boobies?” Me: “Labubus” My wife: ?? *shows picture on phone* My wife: “Oh. What age group are these popular with?” Me: “It sounds like… us. Melted millennials.” My wife: “Oh… you remember Lil’ Homies? I liked them.”
