Grant Morrison & Chaos Magick (E296)

Guest writers Ben Clarkson and Matt Bors, the creators behind the graphic novel series “Justice Warriors”, take Julian and Jake on a twisted journey into the ideology of Grant Morrison.  Morrison is responsible for the Invisibles and a seven year Batman run considered by fans to be some of the best Batman comics written to date.  He also claims that he’s been abducted by aliens in Kathmandu, and that we’re all giant centipedes weaving through time and space.

Love my Jakey and I love his love of Weezer. But I have not been able to listen to anything new from Weezer in the last 20 years.

Ian Story

I worked on 2 seasons of the Doom Patrol tv show adaptation and had no idea about his belief structure. Wow. Kinda makes it all make more sense lol

Justin Cammer

Gnosis just sounds like repackaged Buddhism lol.

Arlene H

By far one of the most clear and thorough explanation of modern occult magick I’ve ever heard. Wow.

F

Flexy mentalo is the shortest 🙂

Zoran Basic

Are you on Discord?

ROU Sentient Lichen

You're only the second person I've encountered who has heard of it as well!

ROU Sentient Lichen

I grew up raising turkeys. The town where I live is also chock full of wild turkeys

ROU Sentient Lichen

Disability justice, fuck yeah! Literally you are the *second* person I've met who has even heard of the PTM framework. The first being a fellow disabled pal who recommended me the book Psychiatric Diagnosis by Lucy Johnston. It just made so much more sense and then seeing that people who have previously worked on DSM in the past being SO scathingly critical of DSM is pretty telling also

hhhhhm

Sure is! Absolutely adorable are turkeys ❤️

hhhhhm

A Gorilla Dracula …. Oh man. The possibilities are endless…..Godzilla Zombie? Dormouse Werewolf ? Alice in sigiland? The Mad Hatter Phoenix? Hmmm…( ok I’m officially down the rabbit hole)

C’mon

Same

Volontia

Lol is your pfp tickling a turkey?

ROU Sentient Lichen

I love that you brought up the PTMF!! We should be friends! I'm all about disability justice and mad advocacy

ROU Sentient Lichen

There is also a section here on how the DSM doesn't know what to do with "spirit possession" (for anyone who is interested) https://youtu.be/tkNWQdVB4F0&t=72m

hhhhhm

Came here to say the same. It's a long standing popular movement here against trident. Particularly became prominent again during the 2014 referendum as one of the points for the Yes campaign

hhhhhm

There is an alternative to the DSM that's been proposed by various psychologists, psychiatrists and people who have been through mental health services. It's called the Power Threat Meaning Framework. The fact that several years down the line people have heard of DSM but not for example the PTM framework or critiques of the DSM is disappointing (but predictable), especially when diagnosis is one of the most easily accessible ways to validate your experience and/or access support. Here is a timed point in a talk where Dr Lucy Johnston specifically addresses hearing voices as being not necessarily a threat response within the PTM framework, as in certain circumstances or cultures it might be considered normal, in contrast to things that can be threat responses, such as overworking, which don't tend to get you labelled (or supported sometimes). Just to restate, this is not a comment on GM or any one individual, but more to prompt some learning and growth around this issue of psychiatric diagnosis and psychiatric "disorder" labels. I also don't wish to take anyone's diagnosis away from them with this point about diagnosis, particularly in a situation where a lot of time access to support and funding currently is dependent on a psychiatric diagnosis (autism spectrum disorder etc. etc.) Power Threat Meaning Framework timed point in talk 👉 https://youtu.be/tkNWQdVB4F0&t=50m27s

hhhhhm

One of my pals used to work in a magic/esoteric/crystals type shop (typically serving tourists) as a weekend job and they sold Crowley books but they said nobody bought them really except this one family which was mum dad and two kids who came in occasionally, always wearing all black I think, always in complete silence, bought the Crowley books and left without saying a word. Always creeped out my pal!

hhhhhm

This is making me wish I was into comics!

hhhhhm

So its more like danish swedish and norwegian then 😊 we can mostly understand eachother fine. And some norwegian dialects are more different from my norwegian than some swedish accents here on the border.

Toadwine

Scots was also the prestige language in Scotland until circa 1700s when the Scots aristocracy got a taste for sending their kids to learn to speak English with that posh plummy accent, and it was from there that Scots language became infantilised (prior to that, for example laddy was/is just the word for boy. It didn't sound 'whimsical' or 'silly' or anything. It was just the word, but it started to be looked down upon by the Scots aristocracy and so it of course spread. Cunts!

hhhhhm

Also Scots is a distinct language from English. I'm not saying that as a joke, it literally is a sibling language to English, so that's why they have lots of words common!

hhhhhm

I think this is a broader cultural shift the past decades where some people seem to think they're doing you a favour or validating your experience by offering you a psychological diagnosis. How much further we have to go in that regard. 😞

hhhhhm

They're even pronouncing all the Ts and everything. Mon now!

hhhhhm

When I was a teen I had someone who was a demonologist show off the fact he did rituals to summon demons while trying to bed me. I was terrified. I think that is part of the reason I'd been drawn to understanding what power they had and didn't have, even though I'm skeptical and I honestly think he was trying to intimidate young women like me.

hhhhhm

Bring back speccy voyager!

hhhhhm

"During covid, obviously" Folks, Covid is now. The pandemic isn't over. Can't you say "during the lockdowns"? Also N95, N99 respirators are still used now by people who know about the links between mild Covid infection and elevated risk heart attacks, strokes and much more, plus that's only the horror that is known. Later down the line? Noone knows. We are only a few years in with this pandemic and what is known about this virus already is bad news. Could you do us a favour and watch science communicator Lola Germs' video: Why Is Everyone More Sick Now?

hhhhhm

sorry but based on this i think morrison might be the world's greatest comics understander

Allison F

Yeah I haven’t listened yet but I thought that was weird for them to not acknowledge they they’re non binary

Arrogant cum trucks

Yeah a lot of us were posting about it in the discord at the time. While also buying some AMC I'm still stuck with...

Moosifur

Not Scottish, but I agree. What you people do with your mouths gets way more agregious.

Moosifur

Yeah they didn't even bring up Crowley's maddening bussy, or the tragic tail of Noidberg. You'd think Julian would be more aware of historic power bottoms.

Moosifur

I was really surprised they said Barbados isn't confirmed as any kind of actual entity when that is absolutely done in the "Metal" and "Death Metal" story arcs. Not going to spoil it, but it's all confirmed as cannon.

Moosifur

Yeah I think you’re probably right. What’s generally true is that it’s something we’re a lot less sensitive about that other types of things people can’t help, and that sucks

leem

Ope... I hesitated on listening and now I'm probably not going to. Preconceived ideas or inaccuracy here and there are one thing. Getting that wrong will just annoy me because it's so easy. Ritual magick, chaos, etc belongs much more in a Spectral Voyager setting

ultraviolet sasquatch

I’m gonna need a link to that Rogan clip with the spaceman and n95 imagery ty plz

Leanders

I'm sorry, and I love you guys, but I had to turn this off about 30 minutes in. There are a ton of very egregious mischaracterizations of western occultism here. As soon as I heard "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" interpreted as "do whatever you want even if it's bad," I was done. I'm not even going to explain it because a brief internet search would have given you that information.

chaos.contagion

Long time Grant Morrison fan which subconsciously lead me to this podcast becase it knew you'll make an episode on him one day P.s. The Filth is his best work in my opinion, Flexy Mentalo second place, also only after takin' shrooms did I fully understand his work

Zoran Basic

Due to what I can only assume is an error on Jake's part, I did not receive my lentil of hash to accompany this episode and am looking forward to this situation being corrected.

Aram J. French

Jake needs to have a segment where he can go off about Weezer in the next Jake's Takes (This episode is great btw)

psidew

Huh, I was not aware of that. I did notice half way through the ep that either Ben or Matt was largely using they/them, this comment was posted maybe half an hour in, before my disappointment eased off some.

Darren

One of the guests does use they/them pronouns to refer to Grant, and Grant's said that they do prefer they/them but doesn't mind if people don't use it.

TheShockmaster

Yeah! This is my experience too, im from norway so we dont speak english like you guys do, but we all speak it fairly well, so i guess the expectation is that say americans would be better than us. At understanding scottish. But it seems our practice of hearing very many variations of english has made us better at comprehending it. I guess it helps that our own language is extremely varied with dialects of many types. When people make fun of dialects like that. It reminds me of kindergarten. I guess because allready that early, we where exposed to variations of speech and started to learn that this is the norm. Where americans might get all the way to university before hearing much variation? 😊

Toadwine

Generally I find Americans who speak english cant handle accents so well but those of us in other countries fare a lot better because we consume a bigger variety of media? Like I am Australian but grew up watching a lot of the BBC and being around UK, Malaysian, Indian, Filipino, New Zealand and South African -English accents. I have American friends who make fun of my accent sometimes which surprises me a lot because where I live, there are tons of different English accents and no one cares 🥴

Jess C

Hail Discordia! Hail Eris!

MCL

Yeah! Make with the lentils!

Kayley Häxan

I knew in my heart it would happen eventually, and am shocked it took this long, frankly

Kayley Häxan

Saaaaaame. Was hoping maybe someone in the comments already found it, heh. A very brief Googling led me down a short trail to this neat undergrad video of imaging plasma tubes though: https://youtu.be/ymZEOihlIdU?si=NQWznsCEM63S6uLI Many ridiculous comments from folks who likely haven't used calculus in the last 5 years or more. I dunno what I expected. =V

Samantha Falcon

My concern is that is that there is zero distance between “manifesting”, which is normally treated correctly as a scam tactic on this podcast, and what Morrison uses to subvert their public image. I get that it’s mostly harmless for them because they seem to have ethics. The guests were even right to point out that this line of thinking is isolating and narcissistic. But it’s really annoying to be sold that same aesthetic in the same episode. They also got their history way the fuck off, but whatever at that point.

Cold Material Handler

Just a note on Crowley and magik, wasn’t just a subversion of Victorian morals but a rejection of the categorising logical aestheticism of high modernism as a gilded extension of neoclassicism. Basically Crowleys larp was a continuation of the reactionary esotericism of the romantic/gothic movements only with an even more thinly veiled quest for pussy.

James Walker

i just like how the chaos logo is just the discordianism logo lol

Lain of the Wired

That’s unfair, the guest literally pointed out that the sigil didn’t manifest the pain away. He was talking about how sigils can be a vehicle through which we bias ourselves into seeing patterns. It’s just a brain thing.

nance

God, same. English really is a mess.

nance

I never thought that a facet of one of my current hyper-fixations (the entire chronology of Batman) would overlap with QAA. Really cool.

nance

This episode was awesome my only wish was that the guests brought up how Grant Morrison believes he put himself in the hospital by writing his self insert character in the Invisibles into the hospital and believes he only got better because he wrote the character getting out of

Nick Derella

This rules, i’m already drawing up wishes and sigils.

Justin Alexander

Post the sigils I need to see the Jake Weezer gorilla

MifsudZ

A good ep! I think some of the characterizations of CRŌW-ley and the GD are a bit simplistic and kind of condescending. That said, the public facing aficianados get pretty kooky and QAA is good for, if nothing else, shining light on the kooks. Keep up the good work!

Chrizzo

Yeah, Scottish subscriber here. It's a noticeable accent but not really near the strong end of the scale.

Gregory Williams

I want to read Morrison run now.

ABAYARTS

Incredible episode

dd

Calm down boy, it’s just a Scottish accent.

monkey

I would love to see the sigils

Devon Cunningham

Fun episode but sadly tainted because Grant Morrison officially came out as non-binary in 2020 and you misgender them the entire time.

Darren

Frank Miller became a liberal after getting cancer, not joking he became more left wing and even talked about it https://www.theguardian.com/books/2018/apr/27/frank-miller-xerxes-cursed-sin-city-the-dark-knight-returns

Hooligan Mulligan

also the fact that the guests constantly misgender Morrison who's non-binary and goes by They/Them pronouns

Hooligan Mulligan

the cohosts literally used he pronouns the whole episodes. the only time they used the pronoun thier in refrence to Morrison was when talking about the time they wrote arkham asylum a serious house on serious earth and even when they got that wrong by saying that Morrison was given a small time book and made it a huge sucess considering arkham asylum is a graphic novel, it was created by Morrison, it wasn't part of any existing comics line.

Hooligan Mulligan

Ya, I wanted to mention the pronunciation too, but I refrained for fear that I might go wild with corrections.

Justine Riekena

He meant Mother Superior, right? 🤣

Michelle

We can turn to Last Podcast on the Left for our Notorious Power Bottom Aleister Crowley needs.

Michelle

This is so fucking melted. So, therefore, I love it.

John Brandkamp

This might be too new but I just watched James Janis’ two parter on meme stocks and it’s so fucked up. That Gamestop short squeeze created a Q-like situation among very online retail investors. Had no idea bad it’s gotten, the paranoia, and conspiracies are very Qanon.

wolfgang

As someone who works with voice hearers, I may be more sensitive to causal usage in general, but it did sound like a speculative statement. I think I remember there were instances of the hosts and guests talking about Magick making him "crazy" too. And all the stuff about Batman being a "psychopath." In my humble opinion, from a Mad Studies, disability justice, and neurodiversity perspective, we all should be more intentional and careful about using words that were, and are, used to marginalize, imprison, and dehumanize.

ROU Sentient Lichen

I think the uses of the term “schizophrenic” were intended to convey an interplay between inconsistent or contradictory topics. Just like how “bipolar” is sometimes used literally to mean oscillating between two poles or extremities in ideas or behaviour; not as an attempt to diagnose them with anything. Though I may have missed an instance of that

leem

Having spent plenty of time reading his works and hanging out with the O.T.O. kids, I have so many (mixed) feelings about Crowley and would love an episode too! They should definitely read some of his worst poetry. Personally, I'd like to sell them on Ida Craddock. She has been sorely under appreciated for her contributions to Magick and tangentally, feminist history.

Justine Riekena

I also had to kind of refrain from doing politifact for occultism in my living room. Regardless, I can’t wait for the QAA ep on Crowley.

M J

I think they sound more like Alan McGee, who also definitely did too many drugs.

Brian Sheppard

I was absolutely tempted to use that term! I'd argue that the foundations of chaos magick are a bit more nuanced. But certainly the most significant contributor to the movement was 100% a gooner. And 100% PROUD. To be fair to Spare, he made sigil magick much more exciting -- stripped the elaborate and archaic systems (which can be fun in their own way) and replaced it with something more personal, intuitive, organic, expressive and dare I say? Satisfying.

Justine Riekena

Like I said, they’re fine with it. And I believe their pronouns were used correctly by the cohosts. I just finished the episode. Basically, it’s ok.

TatsuMaki

Iirc isn’t his description of time just how it was depicted in Interstellar? Like all of time and all of existence are slices in a matrix and all of time is situated within?

Chloe Showalter

You are telling us the origin of chaos magik is an intellectualised form of gooning?

Mac-something

Can we not speculate about a person's diagnosis as if schizophrenia is necessary for being this out of touch with reality?

ROU Sentient Lichen

Like Matrix Trench coats a lot of those ideas were just in the air during the late 80s UK.

Mac-something

I wanna hear Julian pronounce "Deleuze" and "Guattari"

ROU Sentient Lichen

I find it so weird that native english speakers are so bad at understanding accents. Accents in english no less. XD

Toadwine

Idk the guest described manifesting his wife’s nerve pain away using sigils and I lost my mind at the irony of QAA not picking up on that red flag. Maybe I’m just getting cynical.

Cold Material Handler

Tae fuckin right, ya daft prick

ROU Sentient Lichen

Are they getting all Anti-Oedipus up in there?

ROU Sentient Lichen

Dude mentions reading Terence McKenna and then describes seeing, during his hash experience, "self-dribbling basketballs," describing them almost in exactly the same way as TM did. The DMT "machine elves" are a very interesting phenomenon though, it really does feel like one is in the presence of alien intelligence.

ROU Sentient Lichen

Regarding pepe the frog and the Egyptian god?

ROU Sentient Lichen

Yeah, this! Wasn't there an episode a while back about this!

ROU Sentient Lichen

Wasn't there a QAA episode that featured chaos Magick a while back?

ROU Sentient Lichen

I need that sentient cloud article. Now!

TatsuMaki

My favorite thing about being a batman fan is how fucking weird all the writers are: Alan Moore and Grant Morrison both being chaos magicians, Frank Miller is somehow both a fascist and believes Ronald Regan was the devil and Tom King was in the freaking CIA.

Max Kim

It probably made her legit angry to listen to Morrison co-opt D&G to produce mid concepts and defend the comics industry against labor.

Cold Material Handler

We really need to be able to see these sigils somewhere. Also, I'm surprised that I'm the first person to point out that it's pronounced CROW-ley, like the black bird. The song 'Mr. Crowley' really set us all up for failure, but it's a good reminder not to look to Ozzy for help with pronunciation.

Doctor Unk

Cant believe you got guests on to tangentially talk about schizoanalysis and didn't even make liv witness

Adam Edwards

I want my lentil

Brendan Luster

Duncan Trussel sucks.

SippyCup

This was a real barger charger of an ep

Drew

I hope u guys are aware of the theory that Pepe the frog is a sigil + is the symbol of an ancient Egyptian god which 4channers used to get trump elected in 2016 (also I did a project in eleventh grade about morrison’s speech where he talks about getting abducted by aliens and got a C)

Riley

As a Scottish listener the "guy from trainspotting" made me die a bit inside.

12 o Clock in the Midnight

This is one of my favourite episodes.

12 o Clock in the Midnight

Got melted to a fuselage and went into politics? Damn, she's just like John McCain

Noblesse Oblahaj

I want to see the sigils!

Ulukai insert something witty here

I can dig it!

Andrew Billings

This did cross my mind but tbf I don’t think Morrison sounded typically Glaswegian (to me, at least) so I let it slide lmao

leem

I’m also non-binary but present as male so I use both he and they. That’s quite common.

Andrew Billings

Also. Trainspotting is set in Edinburgh while Morrison is from Glasgow - the accents are different!

Andrew Billings

"Morrison uses singular they pronouns. ... They also wrote that while they never requested they/them pronouns, they have come to prefer them. However, they do not mind being referred to with he/him pronouns." even if they are fine with he/him, morrison has made it quite clear which set of pronouns is preferred

Kathryn from Detroit

Garth Hansen

I know something even more gen x, I bought the invisibles when it came out and never read it

Garth Hansen

Funny, my reaction is always I WISH TO GOD I HAD THAT ACCENT.

Brad Plumb

A boy fae Glesga! Brilliant!!

Barry

Their accent was less of a problem than their low talking followed by nervous/giddy laughter which made it hard to follow their (largely wacky in themselves) ideas.

Jordan Y Clementi

I bet you’d have fun anyway!! it’s called Chaos Magick (CMG)

wollymight

we’re expanding to other social medias too but honestly I really love the format of the fb group, its been really conducive to experimentation and learning

wollymight

Just emailed my local comic shop to see if I can pick these up. This sounds awesome

Well aged meme

Woah! A Winnipegger! There are dozens of us!

Wheels Wheeler

also i'm relistening to the episode but the Invisibles comic is was first published in 1994 so when they said that the matrix ripped them off, it's more legit considering the movie took scenes like the jumping from a tall building to "wake up" and king mob who's basically white Morpheus being questioned by the agents of the villains before he gets rescued by the other main characters flying a helicopter shooting a minigun on a office building

Hooligan Mulligan

Scottish tend to have more of a reason to be anti-nuke considering the UK government stores trident (parliament's cutesy nuclear weapon name) in their coastal backyard. I don't think the anti-nuke sentiment has gone away, it's just the media doesn't listen to or platform them anymore now the permission structure of prole representation tightened over time, as well as general apathy and hopelessness toward daily UK politics can drain anyone of life. ----(Enjoyed first comic of Justice Warriors so defo getting the high-budget star-studded kinetic sequel!👌)

Overzealous Euthanasiast

I bought a jacket, QAA should have a promo code

Dustin Johnson

so this is the basis for the heretics in warhammer right?

Lain of the Wired

This is what will happen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RE3wBUn-0p8

batlock666

So where can we view the Jake Sigil?

mobitobi

Glass-Gowww

leem

Like a chaaarecter out of traaaainspotting, Jake says

leem

I get such a cringe reaction when I hear a Scottish voice, cos I know all the Americans present are gna go “wowwww I wasn’t prepared for that, ok unmm, ok uhhh what did he say dude??? Do we got subtitles? I can’t, man”

leem

I was at about 70% understand, and 30% 'what'. The nonsense subject matter makes it a little more difficult, haha.

Michael Vader

I’m not new to these topics but I did learn a valuable lesson: I enjoy having a subject matter expert summarize seven years of a story arc I’m probably never going to get to. Time travel Batman?! Wild stuff!

Shivvy

same!

Shivvy

Alan Moore dislikes a lot of things... And writes extensively about that. Guess we go 3D and add a third dimension to the chart, to separate them. 🤔

Josep C.

Alan Moore would not appreciate being close to Grant Morrison.

PJ Renteria

So Grant Morrison lies in the weird/weird quadrant of the "author vs comic" chart. Huh. Close to Alan Moore. 🤔

Josep C.

I've only just found out from this thread that they are non binary, I will update my memory Banks :)

Helen McCallum

Seriously, I just watched Filth and I think it helped https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1450321/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

Shivvy

same

Shivvy

Great! thanks to my accent philias

Shivvy

REALIZING IM HEARING GRANT MORRISON SPEAK FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WHAT. DEEP DIVING JAMES MCAVOY INTERVIEWS HAS PREPPED ME FOR THIS

Shivvy

Despite wanting to fact check the fuck out of this episode (I refrain!), I am stoked that QAA entered this rabbit hole. But since I can't resist this one item: To address the question that was brought up of where this very particular variety of sigil magick originates (i.e., statement of will to consonants to imagery) -- it began with Austin Osman Spare, a brilliant artist, compulsive autoeroticist and crazy cat man. His primary methodology did not involve drugs but masturbation *to exhaustion*, in order to reach a condition called "vacuity." The practitioner is *not supposed to remember the sigil* but completely forget it in order for it to be effective. (See The Book of Pleasure (Self Love) Psychology of Ecstasy, 1913.) Spare was completely mad and not particularly rulebound (his breed of magick was a response to the dogmatism of ceremonial or "High Magick") so I don't think he would have cared if anyone ever complied with his particular magickal technology or methodology. Except for the self pleasure being omitted. I think that might really set him on a rant. Thanks for the pleasure of this listen. I appreciate you guys, always.

Justine Riekena

Oh hell yea

AndreaWK2342

While true, he’s fine with he/him pronouns and prefers no label at all

TatsuMaki

I went a little mad over The Eleventh Hour one Christmas

Leyland

I'd love a chaos magick Facebook group, without the Facebook.

Justine Riekena

This was delightful. I am in the middle of a reread of The Invisibles and this happens. Throwing some salt over my shoulder...

KateSherrod

ALAN MOORE KNOWS THE SCORE! Sorry, but it had to be said.

batlock666

Lol. It's my original accent. (I've calmed it down because I teach English. And want people to understand me lol)

Helen McCallum

Grant is from my hometown, I really want to know how Americans got on with that accent!

Helen McCallum

Premium episode 296: wherein Jakey learns about how gutters work by reading more graphic novels.

Jordan Y Clementi

The Kathmandu link is outdoor wear?

Delmer Buddy Totten

Handsoap Hoverboard was my grunge band before we cleaned up our act

genrepunk

Sloan mentioned 🇨🇦

Nick Balaz

Release the Jake Prophecies. The public has a right to know

genrepunk

I’m having the devil’s own time trying to understand his accent.

Mac-something

That Animal Man run is one of the greatest comic runs ever. It’s rare a writer gets to have a character-defining run, the fact Grant was writing that AND the best Doom Patrol run AT THE SAME TIME, isn’t talked about enough. A true artist.

TravisPewPewPew

Yeah they do

Hooligan Mulligan

Grants run on Animal was amazing.

Riley Hall

I wonder if Morrison lifted the centipedes thing from Slaughterhouse Five...

Matholomew Brooksopoulos

Grant Morrison is non-binary

Hooligan Mulligan

I feel like it should be insisted that while Grant Morrison doesn’t MIND “he” pronouns apparently, they are nonbinary and are most certainly not a guy or a man.

Leanne Harp

So glad Matt Bors & Ben Clarkson are becoming regulars

ploob

Guys, Grant Morrison is non-binary

Jackson

Ah, just when I needed another hit! Thanks

'Mech Bae

Everyone should listen to the full video they excerpt that starts with Morrison screaming. It’s on YouTube and it’s truly incredible.

Noah Z

Holy shit, I didn't think this would ever be a subject you guys would talk about. I figured Last Podcast on the Left would tackle this one since they've referenced Grant Morrision and his work with Chaos Magic so much.

Joey Regh

I admin a chaos magick facebook group and my favorite podcast has made a CM ep everything is aligned

wollymight

And yeah, the Morrison Batman run is fantastic.

TravisPewPewPew

Let’s go

JerJin

my favs on my fav!!! i did not foresee this coming. i feel like i’m tripping

Stephanie Grey

This one is going to be good! Grant Morrison is a hell of a writer. So I can’t wait to listen.

Brian Louie

I love Grant’s comics. Excited for this. Though, doesn’t Grant use they/them?

TravisPewPewPew

As a Grant Morrison fan I hope I like this
