Covid is linked with damage of multiple organ systems, endothelial damage, soaring risk of heart disease for over a year and a half after infection, including mild infection. It's linked with elevated risk of some cancers, diabetes, new or worse mental health conditions and more.. + we are only 5 years in so much we don't know for how Covid persists in the body over years or decades - because nobody can know that now. But what is known already is NOT GOOD. Not being ableist includes for your own self. We are all only temporarily able bodied, never more true than during an ACTIVE and developing pandemic. Protect yourselves folks! 😷

Most long COVID cases develop from mild (not hospitalised) infections. Also COVID infection history is linked with a whole host of serious health issues such as heart disease, diabetes, new or worsened mental health issues, some cancers and more. Not at ALL just a cold, by a long long way. We need to protect ourselves! 😷
