I used to travel a lot and for short periods of time. From Ohio to New York. I can't say that I have the magical SSSS on my boarding pass, but I did get patted down on the regular.

I have what I always considered a unique last name. I have found three other people in my company's directory with my last name. I've also found lots of people on Facebook with my last name. Doing a simple Google search pulls up even more people with that last name. Even just looking in the state of Ohio, my last name is not so unique at all. I have found streets with my last name in a few states, and even a county in Arkansas.

"there are people who are going to have pictures of Donald Trump in their houses for the rest of the f*cking lives" .... this struck me because I have an elderly Italian friend, whom I adore, a very good & generous soul, and he has a portrait of Mussolini in his living room.

Sounds just like what I heard, as a kid, from my parents and church. I spent my 6th and 7th grade years terrified the Great Tribulation. It's taken a lot of therapy to undo that damage.
