Definitely one of my favorite movies growing up. You two do all the hood classics... you don't see many reactors doing these movies but I have a feeling that these movies will have more recognition it the near future. I appreciate what you two do and wish you both future success. Anyway I have a movie suggestion "The Five Heartbeats" which is another classic and my personal favorite.

I guess she could be is aunt although they never stated that. And the darker skin girl is to young to be the woman playingn his mom. I also google it and the response from Google was Rico was executed on the bed next to aces men. Lol! We know that didn't happen. So let's not rely on that so much. Lol this got me wanting to know who got killed in the real story? He was robbed at his aunts house and 3 people were killed and 3 were injured. They did not say that it was his aunt and sister that were among those that died. Regardless it wasn't his mom. Thanks again though. I've been watching you two for awhile and appreciate your hard work. my comment was more about awareness and less about criticism. Take care

2024-11-12 16:14:10 +0000 UTCOk, I have googled what you said about the mom and sister not being the women murdered by Calvin, and it says the women were in fact his sister Dora and his aunt June (not his mom). At least according to Wikipedia. I like to think I do pretty well with recognizing faces regardless of race lol, though I donβt doubt the validity of that being a thing. Either way, appreciate your comment and will definitely look into the wire.

2024-11-12 14:13:21 +0000 UTCAnother sleeper movie, The Funny Note is Cam'ron (Rico) has a sports talk show he does with lifelong friend and former BadBoy artist MaSe. You should check it out sometime it's on YouTube on the Come and Talk to Me channel. For someone with very little acting, I think he did well and the movie is highly underrated. 2024-11-12 05:54:55 +0000 UTCThis was a pretty good reaction. The movie is a little slow because it's based on truth. You can google this story and get the actual details. The guy who the character Rico is based on got out of jail a few years ago and was murder in less than I year. He went back to the old neighborhood because he dumb and he got shot up. It was justice though. The real people Ace is about a guy named Azie Faison, Mitch is Rich Porter and and Rico is based on Alpo Martinez. Yes Mitch/Rich little brother was really kidnapped by his uncle and his finger cut off and eventually murdered. I want to say something, I noticed a trend with your reactions. Have you ever heard of something called called cross racial-effect? If not Google it. Those 2 women that were killed on the bed, were NOT Ace's mother and sister. If that were the case you think Ace wouldn't have mourned them? Those women looked NOTHING like the women that played his mom and sister. Not even the same complexion OR age. They were the 2 women that were working for him. That was their apartment. I don't understand why some people have this issue but it's a real thing. Anyway I think you 2 are decent human beings and maybe faces ain't your thing but maybe try to work on it? There are a ton of negative consequences for people not being able to tell the difference between you and someone else. Back to the movie, Rico was no go from the jump. He help Mitch in that fight just to get in on his good side. He probably set that whole attack up. If you read up on the actual person, you'll see he was grimey all the way around. I understand that a lot of these movies are not apart of your world but I appreciate you reacting to them and trying to understand. I want to also add that you asked a question about whether police every tracked anyone with a pager? Watch the best show ever to get your answer. The show is THE WIRE. It's an early 2000 hbo show that is critically acclaimed and still considered the best series ever. It's very realistic so it may seem slow at first but you will get hooked.
