Added 2020-06-16 12:52:29 +0000 UTCSo I have been very sorely debating whether or not to include Juno from the original story. Originally, I had no intention of doing this, but at least one Patreon contributor wants to see that happen so now I am asking the rest of the VIPs.
In the original scenario: Juno was never going to come to the Commonwealth. Stories would be told of her, but she'd have no role in it. It's a mystery what became of her. I had intentions of doing a separate side story detailing what happened to Jeremy and Juno.
New suggested scenario: Juno comes back along with two new kids who look much like Amelia and Zuzen, although in this case they are named Liz and Jeremy Junior (or something else for the boy, this is a placeholder name for now). They arrive while the rest of the family is off on their vacation except Diana, and so they bump into Diana. The original Jeremy however would be long gone either way. Juno will have gobbled him up somewhere along her journey. In this scenario I cancel my dubious plans for a side story and we learn what happened through Juno recounting her days across the American wasteland and them eventually ending up in Florida for a few years.
Alternate scenario: Sort of a mix between the previous two. Juno stays gone, but her orphaned kids, now adults, go in search for their extended family with the help of Marin and Ulric from the original story who have become like a mom and dad to them. When Diana meets Liz and Jeremy Jr., she also reunites with Marin and Ulric. This version would also play into a plot element that you guys haven't seen yet and I won't spoil here but tl;dr is that Marin and Ulric have their own reasons of research to come to the Commonwealth.
So what do you guys think? Why? Write your opinions, don't just vote. In my eyes, a good argument will win every time over a majority vote that has no argument.
This poll will run until the end of the month and the results may influence the story's direction. Or I may decide I hate it and do what I want. :U But I won't know until I get more feedback.

I'm going to toss my vote in for the Alternate Scenario for one reason. I feel like it will add something of more interest on the home-side of this story split. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing Zuzen and Violet interacting, but if that's to be most of the story away from the kids, it feels like there's not a lot of room for growth at present. Introducing new characters and a new plot point to the other side will breathe a bit of extra life into that half of the rotating perspectives and help add interest.

2020-06-17 16:15:56 +0000 UTCafter reading the discarded chapters of Guts and Glory 1 (which I personally accept as cannon) I feel that Ace has completed Juno's story arch and its time to let her go. I withdraw my vote for my own suggested scenario and I feal that the hybrid Alternate scenario will be better in the long run. I wish I read them before I pushed so hard for Juno. Thanks Ace for making awesome stories I am happy that I can now support your projects through my patronage.
