Seq. 2 - Shot 2 - Keys & 3D Animation

Hi everyone, hope you are doing great these first October days. Kahl here to share with you some WIPs of the very first shot we are producing for this second sequence. 🍑

As you can see, we chose Neil's ass reveal to start warming up to the more steamy scenes. This shot will mainly be composed of a small loop of Neil blowing Tyson and an action of him pulling down his shorts to show us all the very first horse donut we are animating! 🍩

Wanted to make the head bobbing natural to help our imagination get us horny

For the first loop, I went ahead and created the entire 3D animated movement of Neil, as I didn't need any specific sculpted details to figure it out; after all, it's a more implicit kind of action. For Tyson, though, I wanted to wait until sculpting the model before animating any movements since I imagined his appearance would change significantly after sculpting.

After that, using the blocking poses as reference (as well as other references, of course), I made the sketch you are looking at of the most important keyframe of this shot. I wanted to nail both characters' faces and Neil's butt, so that I could translate it better to the models.

Naturally, Tyson will react to that deepthroat accordingly

With the sketch done, I made the sculpted modifications and started adding more intermediate keyframes to help me complete the entire 3D animation before working on shadows, lines, and Francis's underpants boner. 🍆

And that's all for now from my side! While I'm working on this, Emi is still refining the montage and dialogues using the blocking renders in order to nail the general rhythm, story, and flow of this sequence, so I can work with a better idea of the timing required for each shot. 🎞️ This was a necessary change in our workflow since we used to make each shot kind of blind to the general flow of the animation, and we are hoping that it will make the results a lot better. Also, we will be able to give you a better idea of how everything will look sooner. So stay tuned for that :D
