After Dark: Ep. 2 - Updates, News, Roadmap ✍️

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing greaaaat! ;D

This post is going to be a bit text-heavy, but we wanted to share a general update on how everything has been going.

Since we are in the final stretch of production for the first sequence of Neil's episode, we have been talking about what's coming next and have fleshed out the general structure of the whole animation. We have defined the general structure of Episode 2. There will be 7 sequences for this animation.

Kahl and I have been discussing the core idea of the story. We love blending personal experiences with narrative to make the animation more powerful and resonant. This time, we’re exploring how size often stereotypes sexual roles. Neil is a small horse who has tried topping but never in a successful way because of his size, while Dante is a big dragon who’s never bottomed for the same reason. That’s the dynamic we’re playing with — and since Kahl and I are also a kind of a size-difference couple, we totally get it haha :PPP

Important things we want to mention:

• Each sequence will have both sex and narrative scenes.

• We’ll also be making sex-only montage videos (like the Neil masturbating clip), so you can enjoy the sexual scenes on their own.

• In the past, we used to share half of an animation first and then release the full version. Now, we want to try something new: posting sequences that gradually narrate the story, so you can enjoy the story as it unfolds, instead of waiting for the final drop. When we reach the climax, we’ll release the complete animation.

• Each sequence will take 1-3 months to make, depending on the complexity. We will be keeping you updated about this

• We expect to finish this animation Q2 next year.

Our Trello boards for After Dark and Episode 2 have been updated to reflect these changes, and we will be continually updating them as we progress in production. You can check a quick synopsis for the general story as well as for each sequence there. Right now, it's kinda bare bones, but be aware that some spoilers may come up in the future since we are prioritizing clarity of production in there.

Regarding Sequence 2

Since we have been working on releasing Sequence 1 as soon as possible, we had to pause the work on Dante's model and need a little more time to finish him (he's a lot more complex than Neil!). However, in order to keep the juicy content flowing while we finish, we came up with something new for the next Sequence. It will involve Neil being teased by his horse friends at the party AND a flashback of a threesome with those friends in which Neil will be a bottom. These new characters and scenes will not only help us with the storytelling but also be a great opportunity to show Neil as a bottom, which will make the impact of him topping Dante more contrasting.

In that regard, we'd love to have your input on these new characters and shots. So we will be publishing a series of polls with more details on this sequence and the characters just after this post. So keep an eye out for that 👀

Finally, to not leave this post without a clean animation update, here's a little gif of another facial expression shot of Sequence 1 when Neil's stroking himself. This one is made of two cycles that will be connected by that whinny action. 🐎

There are only three shots left to produce to finish this sequence, which should be ready by next week. So we are expecting a release very, very soon!
